  1. ok, just bumped it with my elbow and knocked off the entire front suspension!<LOL> guess I didnt use enough glue 20+ years ago when I built it!<LOL> So I pulled off the rear suspension, and will use THIS one for the stock 4x4 truck, and will use the buildup I am getting hopefully by this weekend, as the "Orange Crush" or whatever.... if I can get my backside off facebook and model car websites long enough to actually build!<LOL>
  2. that is just a small FRACTION of my "To be built" models.... just showed that part, due to my comment about "decals". And no.. not ALL will be General Lees... but yes.... I do sorta like the show... here is what is in my driveway... and no.. this isn't ALL... you cant see the GMs in this shot or the cases in the other barn... or the built cars.
  3. nice thing is... I own 3 REAL ones of these, so I know where to "rust" them!<LOL> 1 of mine has GREAT reference for rusting!<LOL>
  4. This is being built for 1 of the Community Builds. It's going to be a "Mad Max" style car eventually.. but I want to enter it in a show in about a week, so for now, it may be a beater/junker.... although if I do it TOO good, it may be hard to zombiefy it!<LOL> here is a shot taken tonight. and.. if all else fails.. <LOL> (that's 1 of the other 2 current projects I am working on.)
  5. This is a truck I bult many many many years ago... it's been sitting on the shelf collecting dust, and although I liked it.. the paint is a "10 footer" as they say about real cars/trucks, and its got mold lines, etc.... I can't bring myself to UNDO it, as I dont know hat paint I used, and dont have another set of these decals (think they may have been from a Revell 56 or so Ford Panel Van) BUT, a while back I picked up a baggy kit, that is either missing a chassis, or the chassis got seperated from the rest of the kit, and this week I bought a buildup of the old MPC Dodge Monster truck.... SO, I have been sanding and priming the baggy body, and gioung to put IT on this chassis, and when I get the buildup, will be using that body and chassis with the suspension from the baggy kit, to make a stock 4x4 dodge truck. I got a whole week and a day or 2 to get it done for the Mopar show..... along with repairing some that have had damages, and building a E body custom Zombie Killer that will be in that show, and the community build, on here!<LOL> (It may just be a beater for this show, since time is limited, and then add the zombie killer stuff later!<LOL>) Would get a lot more done if it wasnt 100 degrees outside all day, and my work space is aobut 10 degrees MORE! (No ac, just a fan, and at 100 BEFORE heat index... that just blows hot air!<LOL>) well, enough rambling... here is 1 of the 3 projects I am CURRENTLY working on.... I may rename it with the new body... thinking something like ORANGE CRUSH, if I can find some graphics for it. this logo... but without the flowers!<LOL> otherwise it may end up a "General Lee" monster Truck.... which would be the EASIEST, since I have plenty of decals for that.
  6. 2 modelers I knew from the Prodigy.com days... found Bob and Jerry back in the late 90s, but havent seen em since.... You guys out there!? Don Covell Jr.
  7. I would like to enter with a Dodge Van I am about to start... Guess project name is "War Wagon". my cousin's husband told me about this build a while ago, but the link was on my old computer... and just found it finally, today. HOPING to build this as a "realistic" "War Wagon", that was built by someone in thier garage, that had time to "prepare"... but, who knows what it'll end up, like!?<LOL> fyi.. this is my 1st post on this site.. so, we will see how things go!<LOL> Sadly glass just broke during removal, but with THIS project... that may not be an issue!<LOL> in keeping in with how a Zombie/Alien attack would go, and having to make a WAR WAGON out of something "existing".... as you can see, I am RE-using an existing built model!<LOL> (This WAS going to be used for somethuing TOTALLY different... but I felt THIS was better use of the Van.) Other prject will be "Mon-A-War", a 77/78 Dodge Monaco. This one, WILL be "over the top" Mad Maxish.... AND, if I get lucky.. It'll be a FAST project, as I want to enter it in a Mopar show, at the end of this month.... So, wish me luck..... I plan to do some MODS to the body (dents, remove a body panel or 2, etc... tonight, after I get home from my MOPAR car Club..... Should be easy for me, as I have a REAL 77 & REAL 78 Monaco.... and the 78 is partially dissasembled right now.. (Also have a 74 Coronet, which is the same, except the doghouse on front.).
