  1. Took it outside for a few pictures. although in the Netherlands, it looks like a USA scene now (Except for the Scania LT146 build by a buddy of mine) I also liked this shot of my scania 143 Streamline :
  2. LWB is an understatement for sure Great looking truck. Maybe it could be a little bit more lowrider style, as the front fenders seem a bit high for this type of truck, but it's great as it is!
  3. Hello friends, Just working on a new build; A Peterbilt 379 with Century rotator, something like this: I am looking for pictures from a top view. These are hard to find. I have most of the other detail. Can anybody help? Thnx in advance!
  4. I could not answer Marcus, As Lego does not really have proper genuine windows this size i don't use them. In fact i don't glue anything normally. A new picture, with the trailer attached:
  5. Thnx, those blueprints are not too detailled though :-(
  6. That is massively big and awesome, great work!
  7. i am working on a new Pete 379, but in need of more detailled dimension drawings. I can't seem to find them. Can any of you help? It should be something like this Scania example:
  8. Thnx all, indeed a bit harder Austin... there were no building instructions, and 10000 bricks more
  9. After more then a year this combo is complete now. In scale 1:13 this combo is completely build out of genuine Lego bricks (about 17.000). As an addition many where chromed afterwards in an electroplating process, becoming truly chromed. This truck is mildly based on the fleet of Eilen trucking. The rig is a Peterbilt 379 with extended hood and C15 CAT engine, also heavily chromed. The trailer is a MAC half round enddump.
  10. Indeed they are all genuine bricks. They only thing not standard is the chroming. ABS can be electroplated with true chrome, and I have a batch of bricks chromed so now and then. My builds are always from scratch and have nothing to do with Lego sets. I use Lego as I like the bricks as building material.
  11. Nope that wasn't me, i made a dumper RC controlled and with lights.
  12. Thanks Bob. I haven't meassured it, but it is around 9 to 10 inches i guess. The number of bricks will be around 500. Of those a fair share is chromed afterwards with real chrome, not just a paintjob. It took me about 4 weeks to build. I actually have a few more bikes standing around, I love to build them.
  13. Well this is my first post in this section. So now and then I post some of my models in the trucks session, but this time i have created a motorbike out of lego's. This Harley Davidson FLH Bagger is inspired by the famous 'Red Baron' Fokker DR.1 WW I triplane flown by Manfred von Richthofen. Build in Lego scale 1:10 it features many custom electroplated chrome bricks, and the same color scheme as the original aircraft. hope you like it
  14. Thanks Jim and Fabrizio, glad you like it.
