Ira, that really shows some imagination in the idea and as always nice work in the building. I love it!

Beautiful job Blair, that really looks like a Show Car. Not every model has to be totally realistic and drivable. Point is to have fun! I've been toying with the idea of trying nail polish in the air brush, the paint job looks awesome.

Sorry about the missing pictures in the beginning of the post. I'm not sure how it happened and I don't know how to delete the post and start over. It's not listed on my profile page either.

Absolutely WILD! I've been following this build and still can't believe it. Great work John

The Galaxie Sedan Delivery was just made for a 'Surf Rod"

Great job Ron, You keep surprising me. The color really looks great on that model. you need to use a fine black marker on the edge of the white decal paper so you don't see the white. The white decal paper seems to be a litte thicker than the clear.

Two great builds Krishna, the yello Dino lots awesome but I really love the blue 512. Most of the builds are in shades of red, but the blue on that 512 knocks me out!

Thanks for all the nice coments guys.......Sam, I picked up a Pro-Mod frame from the local hobby shop. A slot-car builder uses the bodies and gives the rest to the hobby shop. I think it was from a '57 Chevy Pro-Mod kit. Anyway, a few minor alterations and I got it to fit. I actually chopped up the body first and then decided to go Pro-Mod. Like you said, might as well use the extra body for something.

Had the stock body lying around after I build a Flintstone custon '51 Chevy. I took the knife to and this is the finished product.

Beautifully done, I love it when anyone takes a step from the norm.

Let's Go Surfin'

No Bill, believe or not, that was a key-chain item I bought in Florida. I did make the decals on the van though. Don't think I'll ever get that good with an air-brush -

Great combo! I love drag-teams, it makes both models a little more outstanding. -
I always invision a VW van with surfin, much like I do with a woody

Dr Kerry, Yes that is from the Flintstone collection. I did have to fill in on the cowl and windshield section, there was too big of an opening because of the Cruisers winshield. Besides, the frame I used left a gap there. But when all is said and done, it really was fun watching it come together. You did a great job on the master.

Terry! Man that is outstanding! A Fantastic Fifty

That is one Awesome ride. A great choice of colors, really makes it stand out.

Thanks for all the great comments. I'm working on my 3rd Hudson Hornet when it's finished it should be cool to see the three different styles together.

Welcome to the forum and Wow!. A really great job on weathering. On your Samba, try heating with a hair dryer carefully and gradually work it back into shape. It'll be tougher with all the windows but if your careful it will work. Just don't overheat, a little at a time. Good luck!

Beautiful work Eric, I absolutely love it! It looks like something you might run across going across desert roads in Texas or Arizona

Nice job, The '63 was always one of my favorites. I kick myself when I see one and remember my friend wanted to sell me his silver one back in '68 and I didn't take him up on it. Ouch! I just kicked myself again.

Thanks for the feedback. Sometimes those old Revell kits were tough because the plastic was thin to begin with, but is was a little harder the second time around. But so what, it was still fun! Now I have to get the Anglia back together, that's in a dozen pieces or so.

Thanks guys for the great comments. I did have a '02 Cruiser, Taupe Limited Edition. I loved it. Would have been nice if they did come out with a coupe. I bet they would have doubled their sales. They ran great for 4-cylinders and naturally the 'turbo' was quick. The best part was they reminded me of an old sedan, which I can't afford to build. Tom Geiger; I'll be waiting for your finished cruisers. Sometimes all you need is a little inspiration to get the adrenalin going. I still want to build one more, a "Gasser". I'll have to pick up one more kit. I do have some photos of the building of the panel and the coupe.

That's coming out real nice! The big block, the stance, interior, everything is really coming together. I built one stock like the first car I ever owned and I'm working on ideas for the second kit, maybe a racing version, don't know yet, but you certainly got my ideas flowing.
