  1. i suppose maybe licensing agreements with kenworth?
  2. i tell ya what i'd like to see from revell is them reissue the tanker trailer kit i still have one from way back in 2003? it's a nice kit and i think it would benefit from a reissue. but as far as the W-900 kit yes it has begun to deteriorate from constant use same thing with the 359 kit that revell offers i realize now that revell may never tool up a modern W-900 but it never hurts to dream right?
  3. these things are beastly!, this would be a pretty good project I'm more of a fleet truck kinda guy y'know basic paint job, two hole wheels, single exhaust that sorta thing so this would fit well in that catagory. I'm going to try to get my hands on another one of these kits whenever another one pops up on ebay because this looks like a really fun project! Thanks for lookin'!
  4. i don't get why revell doesn't use a modern W-900? I'm still probably going to buy one of these but i really wish it were the up to date version of the W-900 i mean we've seen this particular tooling for at least 20+ different variations come on revell time for an update.
  5. the truck he actually drove looked exactly like this one, the model he built was an FLD 120 with a scratch-built tanker hooked to it.
  6. i too have a few fond memories involving this kit my late uncle tim built one of these for a company he worked for called Liquid trans corp. i need to try and find some photos of it it was really something else. so i suppose this is sort of a tribute build to him although it probably won't be as good as his im going to give it the old southern try. Thanks for lookin'!
  7. ask tim ahlborn he built a couple of these he should be able to help.
  8. that sounds awesome! gonna keep an eye out on that one for sure. Thanks for lookin'!
  9. those tyrone malone trucks are really cool good trade, yeah hopefully they will this is probably one of my favorite kits next to the 378 kit and would love to see it reissued for sure! Thanks for lookin'!
  10. very nice collection!, yeah they are hard to find these days so people tend to go a little crazy with the prices on "rare" kits that why like i said snapped it up as quickly as i could because no doubt someone else will put one up for sale in the next day or so for wayyy more than what i paid for the one i got (market inflation). Thanks for lookin'!
  11. yeah i saw another one on there about a week ago but i didn't have the money to buy cause the guy selling it wanted about 110 dollars for it so when i saw this i made sure i snagged it lol
  12. yeah i know how ya feel
  13. probably going another route i've seen an FLD 120 around where i live thats sort of a light blue color with two hole budd wheels but i don't know once it arrives im going to do some brainstormng and see what comes out of it. Thanks for lookin'!
  14. man i tell ya i got lucky finding this freightliner kit been trying to get my hands on one of these for years couldn't have snapped it up faster. http://www.ebay.com/...984.m1439.l2648

  18. was the truck you saw a 1500? or a 2500? this might be able to narrow it down as well a estimate of the year as well.
