  8. AMTI resin do a full resin kit of the rubber duck truck with the correct airfillter . But thats very expensive ! Here is a pic of the fillter on my duck truck the fillter is from an Italiari western star with the correct bands and pipes heated to fit .You are correct the hight is different and the bands are in different places on the can You may have to alter the hood slightly for the pipes to fit snuggly if you need any more help just ask somone will be able to help you

  14. Thats very nice Dave but your air vent grill on the hood is on wrong the bars should be vertical like the front grill .

  16. A little update I finaly got the laquer on and im in the prosess of flatting it out
  17. This is the second 40 Ford that im working on at the moment . This one is a lindberg . Paint is enamel gloss black over my own mix of crusty browns comments welcome enjoy

  19. Yeh it is the revell 40 I dont have a motor yet but I have some of the AMT flatheads in the parts box there not as well detailed as the original kit motor but they still look good dressed up

  22. Im tempted to go old school with it. Ive been thinking about doing a tail dragger with wheel covers
  23. I got the 40 in a trade (sorry cant remember who at the moment) and he had done the chassis and it has wide whites on already .The engine was missing from the kit when i got it so I still have to find one for it
  24. If you use cellulose thinners in the nail polish it thins most ive found so far and you get some great colures give it a go
  25. One of my new 40's Ford's I love the shape of these .Paint is nail polish silver metal flake and testors candy apple red acrilic laquer let me know what you think
