  1. Thanks for all the comments. I really love these vans and building this has been a lot of fun so far, there are a few parts I'm not looking forward too figuring out and that's the head light bezels and the windshield. I have tons of pictures to study but if anyone has this model van or knows someone with this style van please feel free to post some photos, I can always use more reference photos.
  2. If you're wondering " 63 ford econoline van?" Yes you're not crazy, you read it rite. I've been planning and dreaming of building a replica of a 1963 ford econoline van owned by coby gewertz. The build started with a jimmy flinstone resin dodge a100 van and a little red wagon dodge a 100 truck kit, after a lot of cutting modifying and head scratching, I've made a lot of head way with it. Almost every inch of this model has been cut and modified in one way or another and I'm not even close to being done with the body modifications.. I hope you guys enjoy and there will be more to come.
  3. Beautiful job
  4. I got this kit in a trade was missing a few parts but the main part were there. The kits an Amt 1972 nova ss but I'm turning it into a none ss car stock with seats from the 69 nova kit that I've had to cut down alittle to fit. I fixed the rear axle, added front a armband added wheels and tires from the amt 57 Chevy kit. Lot of work to do but it's coming along great.
  5. Here's a build I finished not long ago
  6. Thanks you again everyone.
  7. Thank you all for the great comments. I'm glad everyone loves it, I'm very proud of it.
  8. Started life as a monogram 1932 ford street rod kit. Frame was Zed in the front, in the rear it was cut and scratch build with a higher kick up, all painted mystic emerald green. It has a 1957 rear axle from the revell black widow kit, scratch built 4 link and chrome drive shaft. Engine is from the revell 1959 Cadillac kit painted silver with a candy green and detailed with wires. Body is a 1930 ford chopped 5 window from jimmy flintstone painted mystic emerald green. Interior is the stock interior for the monogram 32 ford painted white with black flocking on the carpet, scratch built seat belts and the dash from the 1957 black widow kit, cut down to fit and painted to match the body and frame with hand pin striping. The grill/radiator is from a 1930 ford kit painted and hand pin striped as was the rest of the car. I've been working on this car for 2 years on and off. I hope you all enjoy sour apple.
  9. Joker it's from the 1957 Chevy black window kit just cut down to fit.
  10. Got the body painted. Next pin striping and clear, then chrome foil and windows.
  11. A little peek at the trunk interior.. I hope to have the chassis in primer and paint in the next few days
  12. Thought I'd give a peek at the chassis, just got the rear bag brackets in a few days ago and I hope to have the chassis in primer in a few days.. Also though I'd show the truck lip just waiting to get some tubing for the hinges..
  13. Thanks everyone for the comments!! Jeff as for the trunk I just cut straight down and added a lip to the inside of the trunk one I had it cut open. As for plans for the trunk, I plan to make panels with some tuck and roll like the interior to give the trunk a clean custom look.
  14. I'm building this 49 merc and I want to detail the engine a little more but can't seem to find out what kind of engine this thing has?? Would anyone happen to know???
  15. Colors, I'm leaning toward a dark green metallic with a light off white interior, really and clean classic.
  16. 49 merc by revell with some mods.. Chassis is notched in the rear and front spring pockets are cut for airbags and to give the front a arms room to layout. Body has frenched headlights, b pillars cut out, custom fender skirts and tail lights in the rear bumper. In the interior the dash and rear speaker deck were cut to make room for the rear and front glass, now that the car is so low. Soon to have scratch built 4 link and other goodies
  17. Well the tail is just pulled cotton and I painted it. The attenna was just made from som plastic tube I had
  18. Got a little more done dash painted and pinstriped with a lipstick kiss a grill from a 30 ford painted and striped. Painting the body this week and hopefully will have this thing done by next week.

  20. Got a 1930 jimmy flintstone body in the mail today. Took a little bit of work but got the body fit to the chassis and the roof section cut out.
  21. This is my project sour apple. I've been working on it for over a year now it's 80 percent done besides the body which my dog turned into a chew toy. The frames is from a 1932 ford and all detailed with brake lines, fuel lines, fuel filter, scratch built shocks and hand pin stripping. The engine is a 1959 Cadillac motor painted with a candy green over silver base. Wheels are off a 1957 Chevy painted emerald green with chrome ford caps, the rear axal is off a 1957 Chevy bel air. I've tried to keep everything as if the car was a late 50s early 60s show car. Hope you guys enjoys
  22. This is a project I finished a few years ago. Everything is somewhat stock, chassis is notched with a scratch built 2 link on the rear, air shocks and air tank with compressor. The body is stock the color is desert sand and a drab green with a little white to lighten it. The bed has a scratch built notch covere and scratch built cooler. All the wires, air ride line, brake line, spark plugs are all ran and detailed, engine is the stock color with all the fuel lines... That's all I can think of rite now. Thanks for looking I hope you guys like
