  3. This build is finished. Starting a new thread in Under Glass.
  4. Went to Michaels and spent $36. This will keep me busy for a little while. =)
  5. I got the tub painted last night. Just a glimpse at the color scheme I'll be using.
  6. Michaels has a Cyber Monday sales but you have to go to the store to take advantage of it.
  7. Are there any Cyber Monday model sales out there? If you know of any, please post them here.
  8. That's quite different. I've never seen anyone do that before. I don't quite understand though. You cut the scaled pictures out and glue them to the plastic body panels?
  9. I find myself returning for more eye candy.
  10. Thank you for your comments. I'm glad you like it. James, the tires are from the kit. Sorry for the spelling error. I use my tablet to check the forums and it's got a mind of its own.
  11. I got some work done on this today so here's some update photos for you. Thanks for looking.
  12. Thank you both! I really appreciate it.
  13. Thank you both very much!
  14. You're absolutely right and I will take care of that today. The instructions say to paint the underside black. Thank you! Glad you like you like it.
  15. Tonight my wife bought me the Revell California Wheels '57 Chevy Bel Air 2'n1 but the A pillar and roof had been crushed so it's getting returned for a new one. (hopefully)
  16. My hood hinge was flashed over so badly I couldn't use it. The hood is actually just sitting on the engine right now. I did however have to do a ton of grinding, sanding and reshaping to get the hood body lines to line up. Something that helps with that is the fact that I made a mod to the hood as well. Hood came out of the box with a hole cut out for a supercharger and blower. I got some styrene and filled that in as I had plans to use the LS7 engine. Thank you Gene, I'm glad you like it. The color is SinfulColors Professional nail polish "Under 18" over black.
  17. I don't know about the newer Camaro, but there are a number of reports of Bumblebee taking the form of a 60's era Camaro for the new Transformers movie.
  18. HAHA good luck with it. It's a headache but I'm sure you'll be quite proud when you finish it as I am now.
  19. Thanks Arno! This kit is a nightmare because out of the box it is as follows: Body lines don't match up Horrible flashing Parts don't fit Missing parts Clear plastic is brittle I'm sure I'm missing something haha
  20. Thanks Ken, I'll be sure to try the Elmer's next time. I've got some non hazing glue but it didn't want to hold. Yes Dave, it sure is that very kit. LOL it sucked.
