Dear AMT/ERTL

flat black also works great to seal colored plastic. -
I have two projects on the workbench for this and as soon as I can upload the pics ill post them. Im building a Toyota supra and a Chrysler 300. Both far from stock
-
if you build one i would be interested in seeing it, as long as there is a way to do it without getting in trouble. On a side note I dont see why some companies get so uptight about models, they are actually decient modeling. For me I fell inlove with model peterbilts first then the full size one.

truckaddict replied to slusher's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I want to see what it would do in -40 cold, Guessing it would freeze just like everything else. -
Haven't decided what to build yet but im thinking of maybe something with some class and some serious power. Pretty sure my last cannonball entry a giant dodge van with two motors collapsed the first bridge it crossed. This year im goining lighter.

looking great. how did you do the hinges on the lockers? -
I see more but ill just point out the first two. The oil drum is spilling oil on the ground and the welding helper has no mask on. Also is that welder scratchbuilt or did you get it from somewhere it looks very accurate.

I built a giant van with two motors a few years ago for one of these. Im excited to get into another one.

nice start. how did you do the parking lot pavement?

truckaddict replied to Johnag4004's topic in Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
it looks good, the only thing i would change is to get a diffrent hitch on there one that dosent look like a toy. -
Do you think this would sell well in resin?
truckaddict replied to Repstock's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
big rig modlers are always looking for more variety. I think if its done well and a decient price you could sell some for sure. -
lowering Revell Kenworth W900 kit
truckaddict replied to tjones87's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
not the easyest of kits to lower. one option is to z the frame. another is to shave everything thiner for a slight drop. The front is just a matter of moving the mounting for the springs up on the frame. It depends on how drastic you want to go. Id say just stick it together dry and see where you can get some height.
