  1. Just wrapped up this new release from AMT painted in factory colour Hugger Orange.
  2. Thanks guys!
  3. This is my other 1955 Chevrolet 3100 Coke truck that I built a few years ago.
  4. Thanks everyone!
  5. Thanks. Actually the kit went together quite well.
  6. Finished this one about a couple of months ago. I believe this was originally the Lindberg kit boxed under the AMT brand.
  7. Thanks guys.
  8. Thanks everyone!
  9. Just finished up this Revell 1969 Chevelle SS 396. Was disappointed with the gap between the rear bumper and quarter panel. Obviously an oversight by Revell when they retooled the 68 Chevelle into the 69 Chevelle. I glued a small piece of styrene into the gap and then smoothed it over with some putty. Turned out nice. Other than that it was a very good kit. Model was painted in Tamiya Light Metallic Blue. TS-54.
  10. Just buttoned up my second quarantine build. Revell 1960 Chevrolet Impala in factory colour Suntan Copper sporting the optional 348ci engine. This build brings fond memories from another time since my Dad owned a 1960 Belair in this colour and kept it for ten years. A good portion of my childhood was a part of this car.
  11. Thanks everyone. Here's a pic of my recently restored 1956 Corvette with my newly finished 1957 Corvette.
  12. Just wrapped up this original issue MPC Corvette initially released in 1965. Painted in MCW factory color Venetian Red.
  13. Thanks everyone.
  14. I dug out this 40+ year old build and decided to give it a restoration. Stripped all of the parts the with Super Clean degreaser and repainted everything in the correct colours as closely as possible. Ordered some factory colour paint from MCW for a factory finish. Rechromed all of the parts with the Molotow Chrome pen decanted and brushed on except for the windshield frame which was foiled. Turned out not too bad.
  15. Decided I wanted a 1954 Corvette for my collection so I used a 1953 kit to replicate it. Only visual difference between the 53 and the 54 after researching it was the higher output engine in 1954 and the addition of three new colors, Pennant Blue, Sportsman Red and Black. I decided to use MCW factory color Pennant Blue. All Pennant Blue 1954 Corvettes came with a tan interior and tan soft top. Using the valve cover from the 1953 Corvette I reworked it to look like the valve cover on the 1954. I had a set of Keith Marks 1954 valve cover decals that I used to finish off the look. In my opinion it is as close as you can get it considering a 1954 Corvette was never kitted.
  16. Thanks everyone. Took these pics in the sun today. Blue pops better in the sun.
  17. Well I'm calling this one done. MPC 1960 Chevrolet Corvette 283ci painted in MCW factory colour Horizon Blue. Once the sun comes back out I will get some better pics. The blue will really pop in the sun but for now these will have to do.
