  1. Thanks everyone!
  2. Thanks. Some of the '57 T-birds came without the porthole. Not too many know this.
  3. Just finished this AMT 1957 Ford Thunderbird. Painted in Tamiya Italian Red. As the Beach Boys said "And She'll Have Fun Fun Fun Til Her Daddy Takes the T-bird Away".
  4. Thanks everyone!
  5. Just wrapped up this quick build. A few fit issues with the interior fitting into the body, required some sanding of the interior sides before it would go in...other than that, a fairly nice kit.
  6. Thanks everyone!
  7. Looks great!....is that Calypso Coral?
  8. Thanks everyone!
  9. Just finished this new release from Revell today. I was working on this one and the Revell 1969 Mustang Boss 302 at the same time.
  10. Thanks everyone! Here's a few better pics taken outside under natural lighting. :-)
  11. Thanks Lee. I used Testors aluminum brush paint in the bottles for the wheels to match my 1:1 reference pics.
  12. Kyle...yes it is. I didn't have to adjust ride height or stance which is very rare on most kits.
  13. Gil...I did do a Revell Mach1 several years back. It is the same kit with a few upgrades. The front end was one as well as the headlights which are now clear whereas the Mach1 were chrome. Same kit though.
  14. Thanks ....it just comes with the single carb.
  15. Thanks...I used Testors aluminum brush paint.
  16. Just finished up this new release from Revell of the '69 Boss 302. Great kit and fun to build. Weather is bad here so I couldn't get outside and get better pics.
  17. Thanks. I had to dremel off about a 1/16th of an inch off of the lower portion of the front fenders so the bumper could move back and remove the tab underneath the top of the front fenders where the headlight/grille assembly glues against. It was an easy fix.
  18. Thanks. Unfortunately the kit came with a Chevy 454 big block. Would have been nice to have a Ford engine.
  19. I did this '68 Camaro Z/28 in LeMans Blue. You can compare and decide for yourself.
  20. Just finished up this pretty basic kit originally tooled in the '60's. I was told the kit was originally a '61 Ranchero fitted with a newly tooled grille to make it a '60 Ranchero to represent "Ohio" George Montgomery's drag racer. The downside to this is the engine that comes with the kit is a Chevy big block 454. Would have been nice if a Ford engine had been offered as an option. The grille stuck out too far so I dremeled off about a 1/16 of an inch off of the lower portion of the front fenders so the bumper could move back and removed the tabs under the top of the front fenders that the grille glues against in order to get the grille/bumper recessed back for a more accurate look.
  21. Thanks everyone. I finished the top today but not going to display it with it on just wanted to see what it looked like.
  22. Just wrapped up my last build for 2018. Pretty basic old tooling kit but builds up to a decent build.
  23. Thanks again everyone! My complete Elkie collection. I have a '65 on the bench right now.
  24. Thanks everyone!
