Built this Revell 1969 Dodge Daytona 440 several years ago before I used BMF. I wanted to do a mild restoration to bring the model up to my current building standards. It originally had a white wing and white deck stripe and silver paint for trim. Changed the tires from redlines to white lettered.

Thanks guys. Tom, those tires are a set I had in my parts box. I found that the double whitewall tires that came with the kit were too big for this car. They looked more like truck tires.

Finished this one up just recently. I used Keith Mark's '69 "442" and "W-30" scripts for this build and the stripes are from the kit. I found the kit scripts not very accurate. The back bumper fit on this kit is not the greatest either. Tire decals provided by Fireball Modelworks.

My latest build. A nice easy build. Had to adjust the front wheels back a bit. AMT used the chassis from the '66 Wildcat for this one causing the wheelbase to be a bit too long. Front wheels were hitting the fender wells.

Thanks Randy and Gary!

Just light coats of paint. I like Tamiya spray paints. Never seem to go on heavy obscuring the scripts.

Thanks guys! Frank I painted the headlights with Testors aluminum brush paint to set them apart from the chrome bezels.
