  1. Looks great Mike. Nice job on fixing up the headlamps.
  2. Buttoned this one up this morning.
  3. Thanks everyone! Michael the chrome pen is excellent as long as you don't touch it with your fingers...even after it's dry as well. Otherwise it holds up good. Never tried clear coating over it though. Some have and say it holds its chrome look.
  4. Thanks guys! I think I got the stance just about right. Few more things to button up and then I will post the finished pics here. More to come.
  5. I used my Molotow Chrome pen to do the exhaust tips. Not much done today other than a little work on the engine and installing the interior into the body.
  6. Thanks everyone. David, haven't got to the chassis yet.
  7. Thanks guys!. Finished up the interior tonight. Engine and chassis still to go.
  8. Started this kit about a week ago. Been mainly working on the body although I do have the other parts of the kit painted and waiting to be assembled. Took two days to do the decals and a half of a day to do the BMF. Body is primed in Tamiya gray primer and painted in Tamiya TS-14 Black and TS-76 Mica Silver with a generous coat of Testors Wet Look clear. Tire decals from Fireball Modelworks. Back bumper is taped on so I could align the decals. Front bumper is glued on.
  9. Cool project Mike!
  10. Thanks guys!
  11. Very nice '62 Impala Mike! Color looks great!
  12. Thanks guys for the great compliments on my build!
  13. Thanks guys! Love this shot with my '69 COPO Camaro and 1969 COPO Nova together.
  14. Thanks Mike, Richard, Eric and Matt. The paint is Tamiya Racing Green.
  15. Another build buttoned up.
  16. Thanks Tim and Tom. Tim I currently own a 1:1 2005 Mustang GT that I bought new in 2005. I also used to own a '79 Camaro Z/28. I grew up in a chevy family and felt like I was a trader when I bought my Mustang. I never really cared for the new Camaros.....I like the old ones though!
  17. Thanks David. I always use Tamiya primer, usually white but on this one I used gray.
  18. Thanks Tim. The pic I posted was after the ride height was corrected. It was a matter of trimming some of the suspension parts so that it would sit lower in the chassis. The rest of the model fit pretty good.
  19. The factory color is Nightfall Gray Metallic which I couldn't find so I painted it in Dupli-Color Storm Gray Metallic.
  20. Goes together good but does sit a bit high and needs to be lowered.
  21. Celebrating 50 years of Camaro. My latest build, 2017 50th Anniversary Chevrolet Camaro SS 6.2 litre seen here with its older brother a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS 396.
  22. Thanks Mike.
  23. Thanks everyone! Raoul...that was a typo error when I added the SS to the RS. Thanks for making note of it, I'll try and edit my post.
