  4. Here's a few old school style lowriders. The '69 Chevelle I built when I was about 8 yrs old and just recently got it back from a cousin of mine I gave it to. The '63 Impala is just a wip I've been rebuilding from another old build of mine. It has a custom twisted clear shifter with a red clear knob, chain wheel & pip organ speakers. The Monte I know is not a early '70s, it's a '77 but it still has that flavor & thought I'd post it up anyways. It's also a work in progress. Sorry for the bad quality of pics.
  5. Yeah man she is coming along nice, that color is outstanding! I spent a good few weeks just looking at everyones builds saying to myself, "Man its to step my builds up"! I'm just blown away by the caliber of some the builders here. Yeah its this Sunday at the Stockton Fairgrounds, it is the Car show/Swap Meet. Its going to be held from 6am to 3pm. Gates are opening for sellers at 5am, admission is $5 kids 12 & under are free. They're gonna have a huge model show from builder Bob Carrol. It should be a good show. I'm trying to get things situated over so I can make it out. I missed the last couple shows so I want to make this one for sure.
  6. I'm loving how this build is coming along Len. I always dig phoenician yellow as a color combo on two tones. Great work!
  7. Hey Dave looking good brother! This is Ruben "RuthlessRuben209" from utuber land. Glad to see you here man. I started an account here after Doc was talking about it. Lots of great people here Dave. I love the viper motor in this ride. The paint job came out great man I'm diggin this ride!
  8. Oh man I've had no luck on ebay trying to grab one. I've gotten out bid every time. I'll try and look for a buy it now next time. You know I remember back in the 80s when this kit did come out to it was always marked down low at Longs Drugs for like 5 or 6 bucks where every other kits was going for 9 or 10 lol I never particularly cared for the car but man those spoke rims were always nice for other projects.
  9. Are they? I haven't seen any at my local shops, I'm gonna have to put the order in. Thanks for the heads up James.
  10. Oh man Doc we got lots of great kits to look forward to next year! I'm gonna be picking up a few of those Daytona Spiders just for the wheels alone! So many kits I'm glad they're releasing. Thanks for the heads up Doc!
  11. I love this build its very clean n fast looking! That grill came out excellent & the witching of the steering wheel to your countries side is a perfect touch!
