You? Throwing the towel..?? You are way too modest. Your work is as amazing as his... I've been doing models since 1980, and I would never imagine attempting building something like you both do. Your work is amazing. I was even surprised to discover another dude that makes something on the same level as your cuda. Yes, Mark's work is magnificent....And so you are....

MPC 1970 Dodge Coronet Super Bee
mopar_guy1 replied to 1972 Satellite's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Thanks Daniel. Didnt know AMT/MPC was the same company. I should've googled it before commenting...lolll And yes you're right...Dog dish wheels should ALWAYS be included in all modern mopar kits aside magnum and rally wheels. Those three rims options should be available in all mopar kits. -
MPC 1970 Dodge Coronet Super Bee
mopar_guy1 replied to 1972 Satellite's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Folks, the recent mpc 1970 coronet kit share 3 or 4 entire plastic tree with the 1968 roadrunner amt "muscle cars" series kit. Looks like MPC wanted to re-issue it's old kit using some of the more realistic part trees from the more recent amt kit. It's exactly the same mold. They must have signed an agreement to use AMT mold. Was a cheaper solution than having to spend several thousand bucks creating new molds. Thats the reason the kit displays two dashes, several extra parts and fitting problems. -

1967 Hemi charger. E code Dark Blue Metallic
mopar_guy1 replied to mopar_guy1's topic in WIP: Model Cars
I've been doing models for quite a long time....But if there is a step that is nerve racking is glueing the windsheild and rear window. Especially on those models, like this one, which the glass is too small leavin less than 1/16 of an inch of plastic on each side to glue on. The winsheil is of, but the rear window is a pain in the butt. I need a beer. -

Thamks Daniel. It's appreciated.

Really nice color. It's gonna be a kickass

Actually, the hood decals are just the center part and the thin lines on both edges. But for the rest (the whole black part), i simply painted it using only masking tape and a spray can. Here is the hood without the decals, leaving only the painted part.

Just when you though you've seen it all, all you can do is to look, scratch your head and say.....Wow.... That's amazing.... I would'nt even have the courage to start something like that.... Looks like a superhero car from the 60's. Great job Kerry... Keep it up....
