i cut the sleeper off comeletey..left a triangle cutout on top of the cab and a flat surface on the back.. after making some filler panels, using some body putty lots of sanding i got the problems solve...was quite a job to be honest ill have some update pics in the morning...im headed to miami and gonna be in the truck for a while so i wont be here to work on it -

indeed...i got it last year just the cab insides and windows...i wanted to rebuild it sooooo bad...figured id be best to buy the kit vs each part..this t600 ticked me off so the coe gets a second shot in life... after its done i think i nice 48 foot reefer will suit it well heres a short update....got the rear wheels one it, along with my 8v71 detroit in mock up -
i got fed up with this stupid t600...im not a fan of the trucks to begine with...after breaking numeruos parts...andit being in the way... this idea clicked.. thanks to rel14 i finally have use for this awesome old coe kw...all im missing is the grill and a headlight i think... so time to cut chop cuss and throw...and make a truck now to stretch it..make it normal or box...

RocketJockey87 replied to RocketJockey87's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
just an update, i got it all re-painted...heres just a short teaser.....this truck was on hold for almost 2 months cause another memeber never sent said parts....big thanks to swamp dog for sending me part in 2 days to get this truck on the road faster.. the body is just sitting on the frame...still finishing up the inside...more pics soon -
well put,.. i took a risk, ive traded with 2 members and had super good trades... the one that screwed me was even a MCM Avid Poster... so yes its a risk... i traded some decals from modeltruckin and had them sent to his house....never again will i do something like that...i lost a lil over 15 bucks, vs under 10 trading parts...lesson learned do some research is my advice...i like to call individuals, check on some other posts...check the good traders list and so on
