  1. got the rear door fixed,some mudflaps and found some fuel tanks and a battery box..working on engine next
  2. well today i decided to make a drastic change...i wanted my freightliner rear supsension back...so what else to do but make a neat old wrecker...more is to come this is just with the 2 peices combined...going to make toolboxes etc

  4. found it stuffed in a box from doing some trading with a member..lets make this more real found this truck in a building...i put wheels and tires on it, loaded it up an headed to the shop, the 8v72 detoit was being pulled from the truck, so i went ahead and took it out since it was loose.. and now anyways...can anyone tell me what kit this truck is? im missing a few minor parts for it an would like to restore this american classic...that and i love old pete's..

  6. just a small teaser pic...all thats left it touch up on the truck...and of course still trying to track down 90 degree elbows so i can get the pipes on it...

  8. thanks tim...this is my first attempt of doing something other then the kit calls for on these trucks...i grew up around trucking so all the cool stuff i wanted back then i can now make
  9. got bored of seeing my stubby w900...so i stretched the frame at 6 am.... used what looks like an amt frame, rear wheels are from the amt freighliner coe.. im also putting a visor, straigh pipes an maybe doing a flat top on it...and of course repainting it... heres pics so far
  10. well this is what i work with for now....the red kw is about to get stretched...gonna try to build the kw coe into a junker...and the orange coe into a nice older style rig...and not pictured is a 40 foot flatbed
  11. update i found some steyene tubing...5/16th in diameter...(7.9mm) for the pipes at a local hobby shop...ill post pics up on the work bench later
  12. no idea where to post this...but im wanting to make my own straight pipes...i figured small aluminum tubing would work.?? what size diameter would 1/25th be...im wanting to do 6 inch and 8 inch straights (real life size) also any good places other then ebay to find drop visors, fenders etc?

  14. i grew up around trucking...it will never leave u alone!!!!....im a fan of the older trucks...one being wicked coe's.... heres my newest project... and in the background is my W9 (unfinished) if possible i plan on stretching the frame a little whats the best way to make straight pipes also

  16. im not to sure, it came in a box of other models...its missing the everything underneat but the frame..and someone cut a hole in the hood

  18. i built models as a yougin...i just bought all this for $20...plus i have about 1/4 of this already.. i love re-doing and custom stuff so this is up my alley maybe i can find some new tricks here
  19. well after a few years of being out of the game, i just bought a bunch of models an parts (see other thread) heres my favourite so far... its getting redone completey
