  1. i love matte black cars, this one went great
  2. jus throw some alclad on that grill, if you dont like it do another, but i think it might look killer

  4. i did a few mods to the chassis, and painted flat black, tomorrow ill update, stay tuned
  5. i looked at the hood today, and i tough real rivets would look way better that the stryrene ones i did, so i sanded the hood again and ordered some small rivets from scale hardware, stay tuned
  6. I still have to do some weathering on the wheels and tires, but here are some mock ups: without flash with flash so you can see the wheels better:
  7. magnet strips to maintain the door shut: theese magnets strips arent that strong so later i will add another strip on the door instead of a metal piece found the right tire thread, in the movie and specs of the car the rear tire is a little bigger than the front, but i will use same size tires painted the rims, using the salt and hairspray technique, Dr. Cranky again thanks
  8. worked some more under the hood: started on the interior doorpanels, this arent 100% correct, the reference pic i have doesnt show the full striped panel, so i made some drawings looking at the pics and some just using imagination: added more rivets: i did the right side, now i have to do the left and add a few more in the front
  9. some mods: seat brakects: in the reference i have, the seats are with some sort of cover, so i did the tissue paper technique, thanks to cranky for that

  11. the other day at walmart, i saw something that might work great, Aquarium salt, also i have the hairspray brand Rave, pump
  12. Hey Doctor, one question, when using the salt technique, i know you used water to get the salt to stick, but when combine with the hairspray technique it is nessesary to do that, or i use the hairspray with the salt from the beginnin?

  21. i wish they were rat rods in puerto rico, maybe one day ill fab one myself

My resin its been stored for too long, now its old and its making bubbles, casted like 7 rims and took theese 4 that were the best, but i have to order some new resin, here are the pics: i ran out of Mr surfacer 500, so i did a Tamiya gray putty and laquer thinner solution to fill the bubbles in the resin, i put some in a small cap and aplied with a small brush:
