Well, thanks to both of you, Doug and Matthew.....I was thinking I'd make just a hanging cable for the spare, probably like yours, Matt....Since I'm building a trailer for it, anyway, I thought I'd add it to that...... I often see the spare for the truck stowed somewhere on the trailer along with the other spares........ I did make some progress, this weekend, though....I threw a temporary spare till I figured out what to do....Anyways....Here's my progress, thus far....

Looking pretty good, so far....Should be a nice project, for sure.....

Got the main chassis work done.....Time to get to the engine.....Unfortunately, I just realized that I need a spare for this baby to match Danny's dual rims and tires....I may have to borrow one from my Monogram Ford dually......Can't see breaking up a set just for a spare.....Oh well.....The chassis went together quite smoothly....Very good fits all around.....

Now, that's a very interesting setup......Looks pretty awesome.....I like the fenders and the louvers....Very nice work on this baby....

Wow....That is a great color for this one.....Very nice clean up, too....

I used Duplicolor Hemi Orange for the paint.....Because of our extraordinarily high humidity, it almost always dries flat....After I hit it with Future floor polish, all is well....

Got the chassis mostly done.....Also got the wheels put together and painted.....Some more of Danny's stuff.....The cab has also been cleared with Future....

Man, that's some good weathering.....Your stuff always looks so cool.....Can't wait to see more....

Yep.....Scratchin' another one up........I'm going for a 5 car hauler similar to this one, this time.....Wish I had a better shot, but I can't find the other one I had....

Precisely....I'm with you......I meant that mostly out of sarcasm.....They've been getting away with that kind of thing for too long.....I like to have extra kits for trade fodder, myself, but ebay prices are ridiculous, for sure..... Just like the Ford Louisville race car hauler, these reissues will all but shut tha kind of stuff, at least for these particular kits, down......

Definitely, a serious haul for sure.....I like what I see.....Very nice....Amazing what you can find at a swap meet, these days.....

I feel sorry for those ebay bandits......I can't wait to get my hands on at least 4 of them, myself.....

Well, work has begun....Danny's dually bed pieces are outstanding.....They fit like they were a kit option that came in the box.....Totally satisfied with the look.....Even got some paint slapped on...I'll be clearing everything after it dries overnight.......After all the rain we got last night, I was shocked to see how much sun we got, today.....
