  1. I get the Ford kit, and is a very nice kit, thank's a lot guys, I'll build it stock in a mint green/white combo paint scheme.
  2. Hi all I see a 53 Ford Victoria from Lindberg at my LHS, not very expensive so muy question is it`s worth to buy it and build it? Or better buy the 70 Chevelle next to it?
  3. Thanks guys !! I really appreciated your kind words. I`m still thinking if use the tail lights or not.
  4. Thanks guys! The paint is Model Master Sable Brown Metallic enamel polished, the interior is Tamiya Buff.
  5. Finished ! Sorry I can´t post more photos of the WIP. The final pics in Under Glass. Thanks !!!

  8. I´ve found some very small at electronics stores.
  9. Tamiya & BMF. I do a lot of mask on airplanes with no issues.
  10. BTW I have fairly good results with Testors enamels 3 parts paint 2 parts thiner @ 22 psi
  11. I know it depends of multiple factors, but; in your experience wich are the most succesful settings in your compressor/airbrush and with wich paints?
  12. an alternative is to use a spare tire. You can inflate it at a gas station for free and use the compressed air, until you can save some money for a compressor.
  13. Just finish the alternator and glue the pulley. Still have to make the bracket, I think a simple one, on driver side. This model came with two style air cleaners. After dechrome one of them, painted both don´t know why the purple element on the round one looks blue in my pics. I still don´t decide wich one I´m gonne use.
  14. Thanks Mark! I think I´m gonna use Tamiya Lacquer over the Dark Blue, Still Don´t know. Ok, Rob thanks for the tip
  15. Ok. Thanks Rob. I´ll let the paint cure for some days and then sand. I´m not shure wich sand paper grade to start with. 800, 1200, 1500? Any help will be very appreciated!
  16. I´m just about to quit!! Just apply the base paint and looks awful, tons of orange peel. If I use orange instead of blue this sure looks like the annoying orange. I use a decades old 1/4 Testors Dark Blue thinned with cheap Lacquer Thinner 3 parts thinner 1 part paint @ 20 psi, because the paint was too thick. I´m not sure what to do now, sand the paint or send the body to the purple pond? If sand, chances are to cut to the primer because is only one layer thick. I´m not sure if the Purple Power will attack the putty and epoxy used in body work. Maybe trash this model and start my new Nova COPO?
  17. Thanks Mike! It´s my third car model, but I´m learning a lot in this forum. The frame looks ok to me, I hope not to find any trouble later. Thanks for looking.
  18. I´m a very slow scale builder. this is just a very small up date.
  19. I crushed my index finger with my car´s door, so I didn´t do anythig to my model since a couple weeks ago. I´m feeling better now so, I´ll follow the instruction sheet from here. this is Step 1A
  20. thank you Daniel. I hope one of the big kit makers do the Plymouth 56 some day.
  21. My grand Mother have a blue Plymouth 1956, so I want to build one. I have great memories with my cousins in that car. So it´s there a scale kit of this model ?, any help would be much appreciated. TIA.
