I can't wait to see more! This looks really promising!

Hey guys, finally bought my dream kit. I know it's a rather odd/simple kit to be a dream kit but its also my dream car. Any way, I wanted to keep this simple with decent detailing. I've chosen a forest green color for the car based off my friends S13. I couldn't wait to build the motor so that's where I started. I was going to attempt to detail the bay with some custom racing parts but looks like there isn't much room nce I test fit every thing. Tell me what you think! Peter

Thanks! One suggestion I have is to check the fit of the front bumper assembly before you do final painting. I didn't and I ended up having to trim mine a lot to get it to sit right. -
1969 Camaro Pro Mod.... updates 11/12/13

Something about this body seems a little odd. I feel like its the roof size compared to the rest of the body. -
Hey guys, just a simple curbside build. My girlfriend loves jeeps and the color blue so I decided to surprise her with this before she goes away to college next week. I like the kit a lot but it seems under detailed to me so I want to find another and do a full build with a small block and other details. I did have some small issues like the box being crushed so some parts were broken. And the body was pretty wacky. I had fun trying to straighten it. Not much left to do. Mainly just detail painting and bumpers, rollbar, and somehow I have to work in a little camp for her. Time for pics.

Looks neat man! Did you ever do anything with the Nova I sent you?

Here's a slight update. Started the engine bay, it's going to be real simple and clean. Which means minimal wiring, and a very light weathering. I currently have the wheel tubs cut and taped in place but no pics as of right now.

This has been put on hold for about a week to finish up a jeep for my girlfriend to being to college. Her favorite car is a Jeep wrangler and her fav color is blue so I got my work cut out for me. I'll be back at this soon

Now that's a sin in my book haha. Sounds pretty neat though!

Lol, thanks. I hated the fact that the motor was just for show on the undercarriage. Drove me nuts because I like to do a display with my cars. Lol, thanks. I ated the fact that the motor was just for show on the undercarriage. Drove me nuts because I like to do a display with my cars.

Started out as a simple sleeper that is becoming a monster... This started with the basic curbside Tamiya drift kit but I wanna show off the motor so I opened up the engine bay and stuffed in the whole ZR1 drivetrain. I will be making the engine bay out of styrene sheet and lots of putty work. I'm also planning a full cage with a stripped interior

Thanks everyone! -
Looks amazing! If you can somehow work in the air feed tubes and the hose on the top of the carbs that would be sweet, never seen it done!

Just a warning. Use the mesh that comes with it, gives it a completely different look with it. I made the mistake of not using it on mine and I regret it. Also the exhausts are a real pain in the ass to fit...just take your time, took me an hour just to line everything up. Good luck!

This makes me want to redo my 69 Camaro Yenko that I built a few years back...Just the detail is enough to male me redo it...problem is that I have yet to see another kit in the stores as a donor haha Love the way this thing sits!

Personally I woulda put the turbo in the opening on the bottom of the bumper which would allow for easier piping to be made, but what you did is still nice. Keep it up

Charles Carpenters 1955 Chevy Pro Mod......FINISHED...06/09/13

Your builds have inspired me so BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH much. My family and I buy storage units at auctions and we sell the stuff. Because of your detail I go through everything in them so find stuff to add detail to my builds. Like the other day I found a industrial writing pack that has wires wrapped oin multi colored insulation. I thought of your build and it reminded me of your wiring. Pete -
1958 Plymouth Pro Street Complete 4/14/13

I love it! My only complaint is that it needs atleast a single parachute to complete the drag look. -
I have 2 hoods for this. I'm not sure if they are AMT or not but they should fit. PM me if you are interested. I could send you a couple pics.

I find that string works well, depends if you want modern or not because modern cars have a sleeve over the Stroud line from the connecting point until about 5 feet out from it to protect them.

The wheels in the special edition revell nova are beautiful and would work great ok on this. They are skinnies in the front and small slicks in the rear. Not too tall either as the nova kit isn't even tubbed.
