  1. Thanks guys!
  2. Thanks guys! I was definitely going for the gas monkey garage survivor look!
  3. Thanks guys, I ended up using several coats of Rustall and then hitting the body with a little rubber cement in certain areas. Primer and paint over that, then a little bit of very sticky masking tape and the paint comes up. Thanks for the feedback Lee but like Jeff pointed out, this is what I would do if I found one of these cars in a barn. Re-chrome, and clean it up a little, but drive it like I found it.
  4. So I just finished my 1950 Olds barn find survivor car. This is what I would do to this particular car if I found it in a barn somewhere. Clean chrome, basic interior, but fully functional with the patina intact. Hope you guys like it!
  5. That paint is amazing man! Beautiful shine and great gloss!
  6. Thanks Chris, it's a Revell 66 GTO kit, not the Tiger one.
  7. That's hot man, very clean, nice cruiser. Are those pin stripes decal?
  8. I love it! So detailed and such a great machine! Made me smile!
  9. Dude, that is so sweet. I'm a sucker for a mild custom, everyday driver rod. Super nice foil too.
  10. Thanks for all the nice comments guys!
  11. Adding some more interior pictures for you guys..
  12. Super nice, and very clean. I don't know how you guys have the patience for those 1/43!
  13. Thanks Mike, I found a powdered weathering kit at my local hobby shop, assuming it's some sort of chalk with a binder to adhere to the matte surfaces, and I think its designed for model trains. Either way, I agree, it worked really well!
  14. Thanks guys!
  15. Hey guys, this is my first build of this year. Took me a bit to get back into it. It was my first time using BMF and first time weathering. Let me know what ya'll think!
  16. Looks really good man, I like the color too.
  17. That is so nice. I love the small details on the motor!
  18. Wow, thats very nice, I like the colors and the Alclad looks good.
  19. Very nice, I like the dark green and you did a better job than you give credit for with the BMF. Great engine detail as well, I really like the back bumper and rear details.
  20. I dug this up from last year, it needs a little TLC but its technically done...so I'm posting it here.
