Just a reminder that the February meeting is on the 20th. The themes are Model King, Snowmobiles, Bicycles, Motorcycles. The meeting starts at 6pm and goes till around 11pm. Hope to see you there.

The Jersey Shore Model Car Club's next meeting is January 16 2009 from 7:00pm to 11:00pm. There will not be a newsletter in your mail boxes this month, due to circumstances beyond our control. I hope to see you all there

You have to make sure you have a good primer under the paint or no matter what type of glue you use it may peel the paint right off the chassis. CA glue will hold to paint but does not melt the plastic or fuse it together. If the paint does not bite into the plastic it can peel off. I had that happen to me once on the only chassis I did not prime before finish painting with testor's enamel. I hope this helps, Good Luck

I have been using a product called Chameleon for the past year. The stuff is amazing. It is a little pricey but you filter it back into the original container and I am told it lasts for years. You can check them out at www.chameleonproductsonline.com if you like.

A friend of mine told me about bleach also. That is all he uses. I usually do the freezer thing, but now I have a second on the bleach, I am going to try that myself. Thanks

On Dec 21st the Jersey Shore Club will once again have its Christmas Party. It will be on the ground level of the Herbertsville First Aide Squad building. If you are in the area that night, we meet from 7:00 pm to 11:00pm ? feel free to drop in and join us.

I just wanted to throw a post out to say hello. As President of the JSMCC I try to get out and around to the different shows in and around our area. I also belong to most of the other clubs in our area, just to meet new people and checkout the talent of other builders. We at present have over 50 members and meet on the 3rd Friday of every month in Brick New Jersey. I have met many of you at the NNL, MAMA's , LIARS and Mosquitocons as well as various displays and being semi new to the forum, I just wanted to take the time to say hello and wish every one a Happy Holiday season, and to be safe.
