  1. Thanks guys... Carl, I used a combination of flat wood, flat brown, and turn signal amber dry brushed... Took a few hours to do, but I'm satisfied with the results...
  2. Chris- thanks... And yes they do rock! Carl- thanks bro... If it weren't for this forum, I would have never discovered how to do rusting with acrylics that Ryan S. posted a few years ago, and definitely if it weren't for Virgil sharing his work , I wouldn't have tried using salt ....
  3. Wow! Nice score Gary!! Got these on Wednesday at Hobbytown... When I walked in they had this on the clearance table... I have yet to take it out of the plastic... So I'm not sure if it is a resin or made from plastic... The owner was working on it and decided he didn't want it anymore.... Got it for a buck... Passenger side has a crack and the b pillars need to be re worked... But for a buck, I'm not complaining...
  4. That interior is looking great! I love the seat belts in there... Something most people including myself forget when building interiors...
  5. Wow!! That is so cool! I like the paint and that roof rack and spare tire look great on there
  6. Black can be a real pain but man that looks awesome! Great work on changing the wheelbase and that motor is killer!
  7. Sick work! Those rims looks great .... So I'll get to see this one in person.... What color?
  8. Thanks... The motor came in the kit.. I just stripped most of the chrome and painted it

  10. Thanks Larry!
  11. Man that is sick! Sucks about the glass
  12. Came out killer Shane! Nice!
  13. I got this resin kit (unsure who the caster was... Perry's or All American??) But anywho, I couldn't keep my hands off and had to build it ASAP.... I had an old Caprice build that I stripped and used parts from it to build this. This was the first time I worked with a resin body and after a few choice words in final assembly and the car almost taking flight, I managed to get it finished. Paint- Krylon white followed by Krylon Sun Yellow Wheels- Revell white walls with 49 Merc caps Blacked out tail lights Mooneyes decal was the finishing touch...
  14. I was gonna build a rat rod from this, but really wanted to do a street rod instead. Krylon black paint. Wheels are from the 76 Gremlin and the tires are parts box... Aluminum exhaust tips, wired motor, Hand painted wood ....
  15. I've been a busy bee since the forum was down ... Up first is this Hasegawa Beetle... I wasn't sure how I wanted to build it, but decided I wanted a weathered one... Krylon jade paint. Wheels are from a die cast.
  16. I love these Camaros... You did some nice work on it!
