I know the rule of enamel over lacquer is fine, lacquer over enamel is bad... But I've heard of some people using testors wet look clear over Krylon paint...
So my question would be if its ok to use wet lookover Krylon... And if so, what is the best way of doing so...

I can't even tell the damage...
I absolutely love it! Black is such a pain as it is to spray... My issue with black is after I give a wet coat, it fogs p in places
I haven't done a lowrider in a while, so I'm taking a break from the 55 Ford til I get back from Florida...
This will be just a quick little two or three day build...
So far, I've removed the vinyl top.
And she is ready for a coat of primer ( as soon as I finish eating popcorn chicken and some fries)....
I'm undecided on rims. I want to go old school so its either cragar mags on 5.20s or a set of supremes on 5.20s....

Got the inner bed sides cut out for clearance... And started working on the rear setup...
I'm tryin to get what I can done in four days because I'm leaving for Tampa and Miami for a month ...
God help me with no kits to build down there... I'm not looking forward to this...

Started this today. I'm more than likely going to weather this one....
So far I've cut the bed floor out, notched the frame , and painted the white walls... Wheels and tires are from the 48 Woody.

Lee, I'm sure they probably would look better rusted, but I wanted to leave them shiny.. I've seen some real cars with shiny wheels and rust on the body...
