From the stance to the eagles on the knockoffs it gives a classic Lowrider bicycle magazine vibe and I love it!! :side note the driver spinners are on backwards threaded if it were a real car the wheels would fall off soon: 👍🏽😎

You’re right. That’s not an Ls clip. These and the ls clips have been popped in resin originally from a guy named jevries for about 20 years, google him. Not the best pics but here’s an early resin ls clip on an old build of mine

Blue 3m tape for the win!

For anyone who hasn’t seen, this is what my lines look like using blue 3m tape. Perfect everytime first try!

And I can’t lacquer clear over that white enamel or it’ll react again. Gotta wet sand the texture the tape left in the clear out now. Y’all pray for me. Lol

And this crappy lime line brand tape lets me down yet AGAIN! 😤🤬 imma buy some good 3m blue like I’m used to that I know I can lay clean lines with and fix it yet again. That clear has been on for days and it still tried to pull it up as well as the bleed through smdh

And I pulled my own Lowrider out of hibernation for 6 years put the engine together new fuel tank rewired the whole car etc got it running and ready to finish body work on. We both wanna be in our custom Cars for the summer and it’ll be here before ya know it!

For anybody interested this is what I’ve being doing in 1:1. Lifted my wife’s project crown Vic put it on big rims built a crazy system and trunk she muraled and covered the headliner

Back to square one yet again… imma fix anything else I see now, reclear, then have my wife just airbrush some satin white stripes after I tape it off. So over this car it’s not funny

Sorry for delay been busy with the 1:1s lately. I laid the white race stripe decals and all was looking til be finished til I cleared it with testors laquer wet look clear…. And it all shriveled and wrinkled up. Can seem to get a good paint job on the car to save my life! Welp sanded that BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH off once again!

Oh gotta hit the washer bottle with blue sharpie too. Wanted to wait til it was installed first, sharpie rubs off when you handle it.

With some radiator hoses we are done up here as well til the body and firewall is in place. And now for the part I’ve been dreading: detail painting and assembling the interior! I may go ahead and finish body decals, stripes, and bmf so it can be final cleared polished and out of the way as well
