couldn't post pics earlier...? got it working... the engine and rims are out of an enzo Ferrari, no plumbing or photoetch of any kind.... missing window etc.... but still won... I guess they liked the idea of a superwagon!

thats right! i saw an article in a mag... it sparked my interest lol.... i bought the weathering kit yrs ago and only used it about twice haha did some on this one... loved the way it came out...

i built this for a contest about 7 yrs ago... it was fun!

thanks for the comments guys!! lazlow you definately got the theme i was going with! lol JC, all the wood (including the surf board) is all kit supplied decals .... its my first time ever laying down wood grain decals lol, normally would just do a custom tonau cover... i cant remember where i got these wheels... ive tried them on about 6 other projects but only this one looks rite haha oh and the best thing about the decently shiny finish is..... no clear coat .... and not even polished !!! just a simple primer and color paintjob! (rustoleum automotive paint) any other questions/comments gladly welcome!

Here is my recently finished 37 ford pickup.... this is the MOST box stock build i have ever done LOL (first finished model of 2013) But not all box stock 1. Custom scratchbuilt intake manifold design (w built in electric superchargers) 2. Converted to fuel injection 3. Newer style distributor (scratchbuilt) 4. FULL msd ignition; blaster coil, 6AL box, distributor (all wired up properly) 5. Converted to OBD1 computer system 6. Str8 pipes! Basically my design is... surf shop bought old rusty pickup, slapped on nice paintjob, upgraded engine for better fuel economy, all brand new suspension for better ride, slapped on a set of aluminum rims (about 16 or 17 inch scale) with slicks! now on to pictures!

originally it has six on one side 4 for exhaust and two for intake... and i had an idea for custom intake and exhaust... more pics soon

im pretty sure its a 32, its the rat trap pick em up 1/16 kit, might be a 34, ill check on that im getting out the camera later, ill got a good mock up pic...

1932 ford pickup body channeled mid engine rear wheel drive... independent suspension, all four wheels... and lets make it interesting, how about the power plant being a..... fuel injected, dohc converted, turbocharged I4...... with variable valve timing will post pics asap.... just wanted to get everyones mind running! LOL has this been done yet?
