Here's what my first one will look like, I've owed my engine guy a build of his old SSer.
-
Thanks for posting the preview, at lease now we know what to expect, plus we can start collecting kitbash and A/M parts for them. The engine looks to be straight out of the 69 Camaro kit, as it should be.
Glad they left the back seat seperate too, saves me a lot of work.

I can see the "PEOPLES CHOICE" thing, but IMO the term "BEST OF SHOW" shouldn't be used at an NNL type of show.

When I had my herniated disc neck problems I read what the surgery consisted of after they was done. It read installed 4 14mm screws. I thought to myself "14mm ###### ". I was thinking in tool terms till I saw an xray of what they did. The screws are 14mm long and hold a dog bone shaped plate in my neck where the disc use to be. When I first saw the xray, it was kind of scary.

First one I've missed in years, who won what ?

nice work bud.you did nice job on converting this one into a modern S/S dart.i like the details and the modern style hemi intake and valve covers.
Photos don't do the valve covers justice, they are billit from Bob Dudek.

Done in time for NNL East.
The pearl in the paint shows up in this pic.

Couldn't see anyting but the old red xxxxxxxxxxx's. But if Mr. Arter says it looks good it must.
I got red X's also, right click on them and then check the properties and copy and paste the addy.
That looks really nice for a first resin build. Don't give up on resin, the next time you have trouble, post the problem here on the board, someone will help you out.

I'll be there doing Perry's Resin table and Jack Smith decals. Bringing a few Downriver Model Car Club members with me.

Very nice gesture on your part, much Thanks

Awesome Dart. Love everything about it, very clean build. Is that the Replicas & Miniatures grille housing? If so, it sure makes a clean base for the MCG grille.
Yes it is. Thanks.

Jim stopped by last night and brought the body to show me, pics don't do it justice. He needs to take some pics of the inside and post them, especially the hood.

very nice, those big scale kits have so much detail potential, just wish they didn't take up so much shelf space.

Have to be that fenderless red 34 Ford 3 window coupe he did many years ago, back when the billet look was all the rage. I may be in a minority here, but I far prefer the ultra clean look at his style to the now sadly absurd & cartoonish look of the rat rod movement that sprung up partially in reaction to it. The rat rods were ok at first, but even they have gotten as out of hand as the billet look did, resulting in undrivable "art cars", which is the complete opposite of what the rat rod movement started out as.
RIP Boyd.
Vern Luce coupe. Truely a trendsetter
