I can't complain at all, my wife definatly knew what she was getting into long before we married. Our third date was to the NNL , Tim Boyd wanted to do an article on one of my builds and she thought that was way cool.
Now 20 ? years later she attends club meetings, shows, and even helps me at "our" vendor table when we set up. If she isn't with me I'm always asked where Ginger is. She's always checking on my latest builds and I almost always run the color choices by her first.
Guess you need to ask your wife for some beer money so you can go to the local strip club, then she might change her mind about you staying home building models. LOL.

I am hoping that mine comes out half as nice as yours
There's a guy running a RO23 SS'er car in Div 1.

Got the basic roll cage done today. Also moved the tread width out some by making the control arms longer.
-
got the intake done and started on getting the chassis tied together

Those wheels look great!! Where are they from?
Bob Dudek from and MAS rear

cool, you can move the carbs in little more i think they got it down to a 3 inch offset now
...................................i could be wrong lol
Your close, minimum stager is the primaries have to be inline with each other. There is a drawing on NHRA web site, but I can't find it now.
Anyway, this is the intake I'm making for the Dart. Notice how the primaries are inline.

That old AMT one could be built into something, with a lot of work. I'll be lookibg forward to doing a few of the new Nova's too.

Sweet , I'd like that in my driveway.

Nice, clean build there, Bud!! The BMF work looks great!! How about some engine pics?
Guess that would help - DUH.

I have no idea why our overseas friend chose to rip your post, but I for one always like seeing them and usually get a kick out of them.
Your stuff has also made me wonder if there was a market for AMT to do something like that.

In your Fotki, pull up the photo you want , at the bottom of the pic is a box that says "share" Copy that addy.
notice at the top of your post here, there are some box's, run your cruser across them and one will say "insert Image", click on it
and a box will pop up for your photo address.

Are those older style contingency decals still available? Great job on the 55!
Some are Fred Cady , Slixx , and some are from Jack Smith.

From new RM 55 HT kit. Modelhaus wheels, Perry's tires , scratch built headers.
-
Dan , Checked your models, but was more interested in your 1:1 work. With all that Sportsman lettering you've done I'd thought you would be more into Stock & SS models.
Oh, yea - looking forward to getting my T shirt , love that A/SR on the front.
Wayne , saw a couple of my builds in your photos too, from a couple of GSL's.

You can lower the rear suspension by cutting off a cuple of rings from the molded plastic rear springs. The front can be lowered by cutting off the pins on the front spindles and raising them and reattaching them.
To lower the front, just cut a coil or 2 off the struts and bend the lower control arms up to meet it. Just be sure to cut the same from both sides.

I'm about 80% done with mine. Only flaw I've found is in the belt molding ( thats the side molding that runs along the side windows ) they forget to put the parting line between the door and 1/4. No big deal, and I didn't notice it till after I BMF'd it. And you may need to grind a tad off the bottom of the interior floor at the rear foot area to get the chassis up into the body further, this may have been needed on mine because I put full side windows on mine.

Now that I want to scan the pictures, I can only find 1 of the 3 I had. Here it is:
Thanks for all the help.
My guess would a solid mounted Olds or Pontiac.
