I realize this one is for a Charity, but this is the only build I have ever put on Ebay.

Ken , I will Monday when the auction starts. I just thought that since we were on the subject of "PUT UP OR SHUT UP" I'd see if anyone else cares to "PUT UP" a build for a great cause.

I know FOR A FACT that he has BLATANTLY STOLEN the design for the Barton Hemi Super Stock intake from the master designed by Bud Lefevre.
#1 > Fact....... that Barton Rat Roaster was MASTERED BY: Don Fahrni !
I like to get up in the morning, have my coffee and smoke and read my e mail. If I knew what my inbox was going to look like this morning I may have bypassed it this morning. I received numerous E mails directing me to this post.
I would like to say that I DID master the Barton Intake that is cast by Perry's Resin. I still have the jig I fabricated to create the master, along with all the photos that I took of a friends ( Jeff Teuton ) car at Indy a few years ago.
I DO NOT appreciate being called a liar!
To say I am PISSED OFF would be a major understatement.
Oh, and by the way, "Rat Roaster" is the trade mark of Edelbrock Co. and has nothing to do with Ray Barton Racing Engines.

I've been a member of SLM for to many years to count. Yes, it has it's flaws, but it has it's good points also.
The one thing that has always ercked me ( and this is not SLM, but many other groups too ) is when someone asks for detail photos of a car that was raced 30 or 40 years ago , and then gets pissed off and leaves the group when nothing gets posted for a reply. WELL guys - there is no such thing as a "WAYBACK" machine. Unless you want to count Dr. Peabody's.
I'm sure if any of us knew then what we know now, we would have taken those photos.

I'm with Bill on this one, the craft wire is tin coated copper and very easy to bend.

I use the sheets from Detail Master, 4000, 6000, 8000 and then you need very little polish.
