  1. Thanks for the pics!! I want to build up a 6 to put in a 51 Chevy Belair, and need an engine built just enough to fit into either "E" or "F" gas class. But I need to stay in the late 50's to 60's timeframe.
  2. Has anyone built a chevy six for the early 50's shoeboxes? Anyone have pics or ideas?

  7. Been wanting to pick one of these re-issues up, but wanted some input from anybody who has built this kit. Any of the usual fit issues with the older molds? ect...
  8. I was just there earlier this evening. Their stock is going more toward diecast kits. While nice in they're own way, not really my cup of tea. Does Wally World still carry kits? Been awhile since I've seen any in Marietta.

  16. Yeah. I wish we had a closer dedicated hobby shop closer than Bridgport. There might be some small ones in Parkersburgh, but by the time i make time to go look, they have gone out.
  17. Thats even closer to home!!! I was born and raised in Weirton. Do you remember Mausblacks hobby shop along Sunset Blvd?? spent ALOT of lawnmowing money in there!!!
  18. You worry me... I don't have anything photo-worthy to post yet, but I'm workin on a 64 bolt AFX that I hope to post soon. Any idea's on where I could get my hands on some injector stacks to fit the a 429?

  21. Hi everyone. I'm new here, but i've followed the forum for a long time now. I work in a machine shop by trade, and have been building and collecting cars, trucks, military tanks, planes, ships in a variety of scales for the last 36 years. I promise not to pester you all too much. I'm here to learn, not nitpick. I have seen some of the most amazing builds on here. I need to get to work to do ALOT of catching up. Thanks everybody.
