Custom Hearse

A lot of times I don't really research the car with the exception of maybe underhood and interior pics. I usually build one-offs, but want detail to be correct. For instance: I wire and plumb the engine with as much detail as possible But you will never find reference material for the car itself

Cool!!! I like the idea of using purple on the interior, and the rest of the Dragula looks awesome . I have the double kit in the collectors tin, but I don't think it includes the cardboard base... I wish it did .

A little bit of both. It depends on if I just want something to easy and relaxing, or if I want to see how far I can push it.

I know the feeling well Dave. I'll see a kit that someone just paid $100 dollars for on Ebay, and I'll find one half that price elsewhere. My budget will be screaming "NO", but my FOMO will be quietly saying "You'll never find it at that price again..." It's funny how I can hear the whispering over the screams. So I'll buy it, and then go on a diet (ryhme not intended). Now I have enough kits to build until doomsday, and I still buy more...

Really? I guess I can tell my girlfriend I'm not a geek... Oh, wait. She calls me a nerd.

Thanks Rick! I used the kit engine for it, a Detroit 8V-71. I did add a custom supercharger to it, but the rest is box stock.

Yep... But I loved building it as a kid. It was a fun kit along with the Firebomb, and the Baja Bandito.
