  1. I just love what he wrote here: BTW FYI: If you do not like my total price then stick $100 in your gas tank & go see if you can find these vintage VHTF parts anywhere else in your state for cheaper price delivered to your door !!!!!! I could drive to my local hardware store and by 4 screws that would work as well. No one is going to care if the screws I bought are original...
  2. "According to Automotive News, the new motor is set to debut next summer in the updated 2105 Challenger, where it will do battle with the supercharged engines in the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and Ford Mustang Shelby GT500." So sayeth Nostradamus the XIII That'll be interesting though to see if it really will be a competitor to the V-10...
  3. Glad to see you have it going again! I was wondering where it went. It looks awesome!!!
  4. Thanks David! I used silver instead of gold this time, hoping to making it a little brighter.
  5. Thanks John! I'm gonna give it a clearcoat later today.
  6. Oh my God Terry! I'm so sorry to hear you have it! My prayers and well wishes go out to you and your family!!!
  7. Yep! What color are you going to paint them? This is another build I want to watch... BIG Caddy fan here!
  8. Thanks for the information Art! And the heads up on Round 2 finding the tooling of the AMT 1928 Model A Tudor!
  9. A glow in the dark Camaro is now available with the Hot Wheels option http://autos.yahoo.com/blogs/motoramic/hot-wheels-crafts-glow-dark-camaro-trio-hot-204127499.html
  10. First the snow was a holdup to painting this, now it's thunderstorms stopping the clearcoat operation... I'll have an update soon!
  11. Another cool start! This one will be an excellent addition to the other "Chopper Caddy"!
  12. The Revell Can Do wrecker has been selling for $300 by itself... This would be a great deal for all these kits.
  13. Thanks James! Yup, it definitely has to be warmed up... Something short of setting the can on fire!
  14. Thanks Dan! I'll give it a week or so, then add a clear coat. Then I can do the final assembly on it.
  15. Another great custom legend has left us. My condolences to his family...
  16. They even plan to race it! http://autos.yahoo.com/news/batman-fans-build-real-life-dark-knight-tumbler-211037030.html
  17. Thanks Art! That is interesting to learn the history of tires and the colors they were. I realize the truth you put forward about the tires being a grey color before WWII. I've seen many pictures of cars and if you look at the tires, they are not quite black. Thanks again for posting this!
  18. COOLNESS!!! I like where you are going with this!
  19. Update... Finally got the bodywork done, and now I've painted it up. I used Testors Candy Apple Red from a can (this stuff you have to soak in hot water to get it to spray smoother) over a silver chrome base coat. I have yet to add a gloss coat to it. I'm finally happy with the way it came out... I've painted the T-Tops, and hood as well. I'm getting closer to finally being able to call this DONE!!!
  20. Okay... You win Chuck! That is the WEIRDEST car I've ever seen!!!
  21. Cool! I will definitely have to look through the photos!!!
