  1. Oh well... I guess this build isn't everyones cup of tea... or coffee, or hot chocolate, or Jack Daniels, or...
  2. The catwalk will be the same blue as the frame, and the fenders will be white. I'm gonna add the Patriot decals from the new release AMT 352 Peterbilt kit. A friend sent me an extra set for the cab, but I'm thinking about getting another set for the fenders. Still stormy out, so I'm waiting to paint the candy white...
  3. AWESOME my friend! It's going together nicely. Glad to see you working on a build. I'll be watching this for sure!!!
  4. I've seen a few of the beach movies she did with Frankie Avalon... She was much better looking than Frankie! Sad to see an icon go... R.I.P. Annette, you were one of a kind.
  5. Thanks David! It's a pain in the rump in progress!
  6. This is a kitbash... I used the JoHan Heavenly Hearse, the interior parts, and custom body parts from a JoHan '66 Cadillac convertable kit, the steering wheel from the Elvira '58 Thunderbird kit, added the tubs, tires, and rear suspension from the Revell '67 Chevelle Pro Street, the wheels and front tires from the Revell '55 Pro Sportsman.
  7. Here are some mock up pictures of what the end result will somewhat look like... Let me know what you think... and thanks for looking!
  8. Welcome John, Doug, and Robert! This is a great place to hang out and build. When you get a chance show us your work! I love seeing the different ideas abd build of others!!!
  9. Mike, did they ever respond to you about the problem? I have never had any decals this bad. Thank you everyone who told me how to fix the problem, I will definitely have to try the suggestions. On the lacquer, is there any certain brand? I know lacquer is a hot paint, and I'm curious if there is a certain brand you use. Thanks again!
  10. Awesome! This is gonna be a killer build. I will definitely want to keep watching this one.
  11. Do you coat it on the paper? All I did was put it in water and pull it out, and it was disintigrating right on the paper...
  12. I tried using the decals from the '73/'74 Road Runner kit (new issue), and they completely fell apart. First they cracked apart, then they just fell into pieces. I've never had this many problems before, and now I'm worried about using the decals from the recent issue of the 352 Peterbilt cabover...
  13. I see just one thing wrong with it... It's not in my apartment!!! To remedy the problem, just send it to, Marshall Glasgow Apt. 9A Somewhere here in these United States!!! That is AWESOME!!! And the trailer is cool too!!! Nice work!!!
  14. Well... Since you didn't have it sitting in a field, it can still be a working truck! Nice weathering on it! You did an excellent and realistic job on it!!!
  15. Yeah, but it was the '97 Ford Crown Vic. In '98 Ford completely redesigned the front and back...
  16. I've started painting the truck! So far I've painted gloss white. Next (when the weather is clear, we have storms predicted all the way to next Thursday) I'll paint on the Dupli-Color Candy White, then add the decals, and then top it off with Dupli-Color Clear. More to come soon (hopefully)
  17. I own a Ford Police Interceptor (after 2000 Ford stopped using the Crown Victoria name on police package cars) and would love to see a plastic kit of it come out. I've been building as many of the cars I've owned and a P-71 kit would be a great addition for me...
  18. A lot of it may have to do with the postal service closing down offices across the country, and some of the other offices have had their hours cut back. I have no problems getting my mail in a timely fashion and packages delivered to my door. The only time I had a problem was the one time I bought an expensive and rare kit several years ago. Someone at the postal service ran over the kit with a fork lift and crushed the Priority Mail box. I notified them of the damage, and they told me that the seller probably sent it like that. I was shocked that they told me that, especially when the seller was a reputable owner of a model business (since gone out of business I'm sad to say).
  19. All I know is he knows more people than I do... I had never seen the original "before" vehicle. Now that I have, I've learned something.
  20. The picture I posted was on Facebook by Stacey David, in which HE posted it as the new 2015 Mustang. I just posted it on here going by what Stacey David said...
  21. If the SHOE fits... What is that, about a size 50?
  22. Stacey David posted this picture on Facebook, and asked what people thought of it:
