  1. To build the 86 Monte Stocker, build it straight from the kit, add headers, a driveshaft loop within 18" scale inches from the trans tail shaft, a pair of 9"x30" slicks. Do NOT use the TPI included with the kit but the Q-Jet carb. You can scratch build an electric water pump, a 6 or 8 point cage and there you have it. If you felt ambitious, you could also scratch a deep sump trans pan ..... Alan
  2. I would not buy anything from him no matter HOW bad I wanted it !!

  14. I will be offering these decals soon ..... Keep an eye on the website Alan
  15. Those headers were for the Mon 70 Road Runner, the collectors are made from juice box straw lol
  16. He also ran an extremely tall front tire ................ you can also see the deep pan and fendwell headers in the pic
  17. Here are pics of the deep oil pans I scratched. (Two oil pans on the left) One far left is a Nova rear sump, the other a nova front sump .... As far as the air cleaner base, I vacuformed one, looks really good ..... I also built the fenderwell headers
  18. Here is an engine shot. You can see aluminum heat shields over the fenderwell headers .....
  19. Niko, If you want your build to be a bit more true to the real car, you will have to scratch build a deep sump oil pan and a set of fenderwell headers, along with an air cleaner base , no filter or top were used. This trick smoothed out the airflow to the carb. Another change I would make is toss the rear axle in exchange for a more accurate 12 Bolt from other AMT kits. Also scratch build some better looking slapper bars. Alan
  20. I was gonna say it is a Comet and he ran a Mav with a Cammer not the Boss 429, nice build just the same .... Those are carb covers, the came in the Comet kit, but not the Maverick .....
  21. James, any more pics of the 84 Chev PU, I love the work you are doing on this ... Alan
