I agree ......................... the little hose from the water pump to the intake is a stat bypass. If it is omitted on a 1-1 car no big deal. A trick is to drill holes in the flange of the stat. if you can not get the hose to fit with various intake/water pump combos.

That was one flaw of many in the body proportions ..........

Chuck, Just checked the MPC/AMT reissue of the 72 GTO, some of the Pro Stock parts are in it, the race seats, some of the roll bar, there is also a christmas tree ....... and those henky headers, so if you are striving for a close to box stock build of the Eagle you are almost there

The only other kit I can think of that has the same wheels as the MPC Screaming Eagle is the MPC, now AMT Vampire Van. One thing, the drilled out and removed the center caps for spinners or something .........

I have a mint Screaming Eagle, a VERY easy one to replicate. The most difficult parts to find would be the wheels, as I have only seen them on a couple of kits.

I am pleased to announce, I have done a deal in regards to a now defunked decal maker who has left many hanging. Upon my review of the decal files, I will be adding them to my current line of decals. The other party I am working on this with will be gathering info on all who paid and never rec'd their orders. And we will be filling those orders. I stopped clear coating YEARS ago. If you apply the decals correctly using a decal setting solution, they will NEVER come off, just try to get them off ....... Not to mention the model will look more realistic. If you have seen original vintage drag cars, they were seldom cleared over and over the years the pistriping and graphics have beed rubbed almost away in areas. Now saying that, when using custom decals printed like mine, you must top coat them prior to them being placed in water. This rule applies to decals printed on an inkjet printer.
