  1. Tip for next time ...... top coat the decals first with Microsol liquid decal film, clear or future floor finish, let dry then place in water
  2. Amen to what John Shoe just said !!! Jason, your wagon is sweet !! Your are a lucky young man, I always liked Vegas, even when they were brand new on the scene. One thing I would do is put the full length front bumper back on but that is me. The cut bumperettes look better if the cut ends are capped and finished so they don't look cut.
  3. Jason, like your dad's Vega, nice car .... Now I see where you get ideas and why you have great building skills
  4. I second that strongly!!!
  5. Jason, Been following this, nice work. I want to comment on one thing about your cage which is nice also. Think of where the rear frame rails are wether in the stock location or relocated when positioning the two rear main hoop supports as that is where they tie into the rear frame rails. On your build, I would have them parallel with the sides of the wheel tubs because that is where the frame rails are. Keep in mind, a cage is all part of the frame. With this in mind, you canhave the cage tubes mounted to the car floor or trunk floor but, it has to be welded to specifide size steel plates sandwiching the floor sheet metal......... I saw a build one time by a very seasoned and respected builder and he had those two supports placed on top of the wheel tubs, now ask the question what sense that makes ........................ Keep up the great work Jason!!
  6. Steve, Nothing you can do about it. The ONLY way is to keep it to yourself. I resin cast my own masters as well, and I only share with friends I trust. Sad to say, but if your stuff is good and you put it out there on auction sites or the WWW, you better be prepared to take what is enevitable ........
  7. Steve, I can tell you that Scotts resin is amoung THE best out there. You won't be disappointed !!
  8. Man I like this build, everything about it is just "right" !!!
