  1. I have about a dozen or so of Dave's resin kits and more to get before he retires soon so if that tells you anything ....... Alan
  2. Alps printers are junk, and rarely produce a clean scratch free print. The color is washed out and yes they can flake and be damaged very easily. If I am printing large color areas I always do them as a lay over with the color printed on a photo quality Inkjet printer. End result for the customer is yes a little more work, but the end result is well worth it. So all of you who expect the latest new kit quality decals from the aftermarket using Alps printers, please lower your expectations. I always try to send out the best that I am able to do within the limitations of the equipment and materials I am working with. If it is not good enough for me to use it on my builds, I won't sell it to anyone else. My two cents Alan

  7. Look up Mission Race Way Park, we have I think the fastest and quickest track in North America, they come from all around just to set records as the track is at sea level right along side of the Fraser River. I can hear the racing from my house all summer long, I LOVE it
  8. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! in BC on the south coast, our weather is like California, that is why our real estate market is insane and EVERYONE wants to be here . The past couple of days have been 100 degs. Look at all the American celebs that come here filming, they all end up buying here lol Alan

  13. Just correcting a couple of details that are true to the actual and not the kit ...... Had to increase the Grant decal on the quarter panel, decrease the Champion, added the red and blue pin stripes for the white ......

  16. I really like this but know nothing about the actual cars themselves, What year is it , what powered these cars ? About your build, where are the decals as well as the wheels and tires from, they look like the old IMC Firestones ........... Can you post more photos ? Not many of these Scarab to found on the old web ....... Alan

  19. Scratch build them, or, use the headers out of any of the MPC Nascar kits or the reissues ...... does not matter which kit as all the headers are the same ......
