  2. Well...my Bill Signs Pete is done..took it and several other models to ROCON 36 in Webster,N.York. Did very well....won 10 awards...plus got Best Automotive with my Lonestar and racetrailer!...met up with some old friends. Had a great time!

  9. A little update....in the paint stage...
  10. Thanks Earl...this kit is the Summit Firebird....same as the Match racer...Im going to use the kit white flames etc...but with a little twist on the paint. Instead of the body being all purple...I'm going to do a 3 color fade....purple to blue then to black at the back.I'm using all House of Kolor automotive paints...then clearing with 2 part clear. Earl....the carbon fiber look on the blower hat and valve covers is decal...from Scale Motorsports....and lots of Micro sol to get it to conform to all the contours...then cleared with 2 part clear.
  11. Thanks for the kind words guys. Hey Mike....I used the kit block...then a friend casted me the Blower and tranny as well as the fuel cell...Thank you Jamie!......MAS alum. Pullies....TDR 3 hole blower hat....kinda a little of everything...lol

  15. Well guys...I'm gonna convert the Revell 99'Summit Pro Stock to a Pro Mod. I thought a big blown engine would look pretty cool...so here we go!
  16. Yes...I couldn't believe it either. I had mentioned to my Uncle to keep his eye out down there for some old OOP kits for me.He's got a few other truck kits he's gonna be sending me as well.He goes all over to flea markets down there...it's amazing what you can find at those places!
  17. I finally got the truck my Dad drove when I was a kid. My Uncle that lives in Fla. Sent me not one...but two of these rare kits that he had put away!....he picked them up at a flea market believe it or not! They are sealed too...unbelievable!....I'm gonna build one and put the other in my stash. Christmas in July!..Thank you Uncle Art!!!
  18. Well.....after a long hiatus...with moving into a new house with my Fiancee.....I've finally got a nice Hobby room with lots of lighting and space. I'm back on the bench finally...and ready to crank out some builds that have been in the waiting. Feels good to be back!
  19. O.k. guys its been awhile since I've been on here and posted anything so here is one that I just finished Recently. It is a 1/24 scale scratch built chassis. all other parts are from a Revell sprint car kit as well as some donor parts from a wrecked 1/24 diecast sprint car....Enjoy

  21. good looking KW Chuck.......My dad used to drive a day cab version just like that hauling tankers with aviation fuel.
