Yeah his motors are carbed..... I wanted to be a bit different and stuff a blown engine in it. They just look more mean in my opinion. -
I used to use Detail master lines and fittings but after trying Pro Tech products...well lets just say I am glad I tried them!......

Guys.....I'm not new at model building.... It's just that this was my first attempt at building one of these cars.....it's been something I've wanted to build for quite awhile And finally got up the nerve to give it a shot. Many hours of research went into building it because I wasn't very familiar with where certain parts and pieces go. So thank you all for the kind words..... -
yes the rear ramp is fully functional just like the real deal.... no there is nothing cnc about this build. I totally scratch built this out of my head,,,, lots of reference photos...... It will be at SYRCON as well as Fulton. I have an LED light kit coming for it as we speak. The trailer is Painted House of Kolor red now. It now matches my Lonestar......still have to do the graphics and decal work......then several coats of Omni clear to bring it to life!

here is a build that I completed awhile ago.....lots of time into this one! The Body is from Flashpoint Motorsports....the chassis is a full scratch build. The engine is a Ross Gibson Sonny's blown engine. Micro Nitro wheels...Detail Master fittings and lines, to many other aftermarket parts to mention. The paint is House of Kolor Blue blood red, one coat of multi color prism clear....then several coats of Omni clear. This was my first ever attempt at building a Pro Mod.

thanks for all the compliments guys! the chassis I used is from a Warren Johnson Olds kit, with a little front end mods involved. the engine is a Ross Gibson 737 Thumper.....the wheels are from Micro Nitro......the struts...rearend...4 link...brake calipers...etc... are from futurattraction. Pro Tech lines and fittings, as well as some fittings and rod ends from RB Motion. The body is from Competition Resins. The paint is Tamiya Lemon Yellow.....cleared with a multi color glitter clear, then several final coats of Omni 2 part clear to fininsh her off!...... Oh and this is a 1/25 scale for those who inquired, sorry.

Hello everyone, I'm new on here but not new to modeling. Love building all types of stuff, everything from dirt cars.....to drag cars, and a lot of scratch built stuff in between. Happy modeling to all, and keep the glue flowing and the paint flying!
