Yeah tell me about it. The worst part is.... Nobody I work with can use them because they all have plans and some don't have the money for the 6 plus hours drive.... Can't even give them away! So I guess I got 4 tickets with all the treatments. Maybe I'll just put them in a picture frame and put them with all my other Nascar stuff.

Wouldn't you know..... I won two sets of tickets to the Sylvania 300 in Loudon NH this weekend the other day from a drawing where I work..... and I can't go due to other commitments I have on Sunday!. These tickets include the Hospitality tent. It couldn't be next weekend...grrrr!

Tim McCreadie....2014 Rocket chassis Dirt Late Model build.....

Thanks Steven......and not a problem. Clay Kemp has given me the inspiration to do super detail builds. He and several other pro builders, have made me step up my building skills for the past several years. I dont really like building anything out of a box anymore. A $25.00 kit turns into a $300.00 build very quickly. -

Why not just order one. I have like 4 still in the bags unfolded. They are pretty inexpensive.

Thanks Charlie.....as far as the carbon fiber decal, I use scale motorsports brand as well. I cut a piece bigger than the valve cover, and use plenty of microsol decal setting solution. I keep it really wet with it until it starts to conform around all the edges. It will wrinkle, but it will fix itself as it dries. I use a small paintbrush wet with microsol, to help conform it better. Once its dry, trim away the excess decal with an xacto knife, then clear it with a gloss clear to give it depth and sheen. The radiator is scratch built. I looked at photos of C&R racing radiators and built one to fit in the car. As far as the Gold you are asking about, Im not sure what you mean. If you mean on the bead locks, that is natural brass color. Hope this helps -

You know something Jeff..... You are a piece of work! You don't want anything to do with me. You told me to never bother you again,......So lets keep it that way! You block me from messaging you this on here, so I will tell you here on my post...... Do me a favor, go comment on others builds.....I really don't want to hear anything you have to say about my builds. So no further comments from you would greatly be appreciated! Sorry to all the others that have to read this.....but, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. -
That's exactly the same way I did the headers on my 1/25 scale Pro Mod Clay. Except I used solid 1/8" Evergreen styrene rod. A little heat at the bends, drill out the ends to give the appearance of being hollow, then the old Alclad heat treat look.......... Oh... and your build is awesome as always Clay!

Hey Rusty.... The blue line is actually electrical wire with the blue insulating jacket. For the Heck of it I went into my local Radio Shack to get some fine solder.... And saw a package of pre made jumper wires with the connectors on them..... Well I bought them and cut off the pin connectors in a few. They are perfect scale size to what I wanted and the color is real close also . They were only a couple of bucks for the pack..... Got lots leftover for future use! -
