  1. didn't you hear? NASCAR is all moving to Canada, they're probably snow tires
  2. watered down brown/black acrylic paints make good oil stains.....whatch what you use since some stuff will burn foam, try on scrap peices if you aren't sure
  3. ugh....i hear ya PE is about to make me quit building tanks....
  4. Good point! I just want to point out, you're supposed to have min a light on each side and front...I only had the on on the left side on that pic. Also, using some kind of shade in front of the light will minimise glare (I use bottom of milk gallon jugs)...all in all it's far from perfect but way better than a messy bench
  5. I found some old rubber at work today and it gave me an idea.... I will try to perfect the technique..got enough rubber for about 300 tries lol!! I wanna see what i can do with a dremel... anyway, here's how they look in the car And all touched up, interior completed! I'm still painting the undercarriage and body atm, should be all done by this week end
  6. I think i fixed the PB problem...pls let me know! Almsot finished the interior today... Still need minor touch up, once the glue is dry
  7. Rivet counting isn't fun for most armored or plane guys IMO...I think for most of us is still about enjoying ourselves and a loud minority is giving us a bad rep
  8. Finaly got around to repainting the interior (sripped, re-primed re-painted) I like it much better!
  9. it's all different skills....a paint job on a car requires much more work! If i mess up on a tank...I just put fake mud over the blemish ...
  10. Parade dress Russian style Not done yet
  11. was it this guy? lol Seriously, i got a few planes in my stash and they scare me! They look harder than tanks imo...
  12. Here's something i saw on a FB page about modeling spaces, installed in my little pieceof heaen this PM IMO, can't beat that for under 20$!!
  13. It sounds so much smarter when YOU say it!!!!! :P :P
  14. LOVE IT!
  15. You'll like one of my next ones then...Cougar AVGP, can't go much more Canadian than that!
  16. yeah, Ian Hamilton mentionned in Mig's blog is (was?) AK Int, USA president... I like their stuff and i'll keep using it, as long as it's readily available in NA! I kno2 2 Hobby shop owners that ordered all they could from their suppliers yesterday!
  17. Yep...I'm an ex crewman myself...and our paint locker had all kind of different greens for touch ups
  18. That's what I like so much with Armor....so much history behind each model!
  19. Hey! Here's the last piece or armor i completed, M113 with UN markings and paint like in Kosovo in the early 90s I wanted to try some different wethering methods so i went all out xD Still pretty clean I used vallejo paints for the main color, rally watered down Tamiya for the mud it's not perfect but it was hella fun!!
  20. I'm curently building a Cougar AVGP...paid 35$ for the kit and 25$ for the PE...and that's a cheap one!...I got a Scud laucher in my stach that I paid 45$ for and i'm putting money aside for the PE...over 100$ worth!! so yeah, armor is not a kids game anymore :P
