I built the revell 359 kit and it didn't have the pogo stick!

Thanks everyone! That's why I like these forums, no one bashes each others projects its all complementary and constructive and if some says something it's usually to benefit the builder not to deter them from wanting to build! So again thanks everyone!

I think the ecto-1 kit lacks chassis detail and I think it could be a much better kit if it had the openin rear door so you could make some proton packs for the gurney open hood to show engin detail open doors ti show interior detail! Things like that, plus, I like to challenge myself hiw else do we get better!

Tbill-I painted the boards flat deck tan then washed with a dark brown wash

Cool! Thanks!

Ok...so I guess I'll have to vacuum form my own for the rear side windows! I can use the glass from the doner kit for front and rear!

Old buckaroo that is a beautiful truck I agree that the flat bed with the rolled steel will look good I built that same flat bed trailer I have pics in the under the glass and on the work bench of the trailer! I was wondering how you built the pogo stick I want to add one to my peterbuilt?

With the wood grain I use a light tan then a dark wash! You can see what it looks like on my früehauf flatbed that I did in the under the glass or on the work bench! The kit looks good I have been thinking about a conventional kit to build I might try this one! Good job!

So I'm looking at starting a project and I found this body by jimmy flinstone and it doesn't say if it comes with the glass! It's one of his custome wagons has anyone built any of these its the charger wagon!

Thanks for the advice but I don't want to build the hearse I want to build an ecto-1 and use the hearse as a donor! If it was an ambulance then did they ever make a 1959 Cadillac ambulance kit?

Hey jt that's where I got the chain crime they also have the braided necklace that looks like cable!

So I have a question! Where can I find a1/25 scale model of a 1959 Cadillac hearse? I want to build a ecto-1 and I know that round two has a ecto-1 kit and I plan on using that as well but I want the hearse so I can have the opening hood and doors etc.?

I like it! I have the italeri kit as well and was gonna use the air hose connections from that with this set of hoses I got of eBay but don't know how or where to attach them! Good build

Thanks! I'm still having issues on how I should secure the coils. The kit came with copper chain and the instructions don't specify how to secure them to the trailer it just has a picture of the chains running through each coil then down to the bumper rail. I don't really want to spend more money on this purchasing the after market chain tighteners there has to be a cheaper way. Any suggestions?

Almost finished was sick last week! I have to attach the chains to secure the load and attach the side rails and put the decals on and some minor weathering. All in all I'd say it looks nice with the peterbuilt! This is the first trailer I've done and can't wait to start the texaco tanker to go with the kenworth. I am gonna take a break from cars and trucks and finish my sons triceratops diorama, he's been bugging me to finish it!

Here is the flatbed attached the the Peterbuilt. It's nearly finished I was sick all last week so I didn't work on it but I still have to attach the chains to secure the coils and attach the side rails and decals and so some minor weathering and clear coat it but it looks good with the rig! Sun bitch is long takes up the top of my cabinet! First tractor trailer combo I've done plenty of tractors but this is my first trailer!

Thanks rc save and gotnitro! Gotnitro the rolls actually came with the kit they are simulated steel however I didn't read that part when I painted them chrome silver lol! I wrapped them in bare metal foil! Ill check out that site I have the chains just didn't know how to fasten them since the instructions are pretty much worthless this build is figure it out as you go! Overall the kit is well detailed
