  1. Finished the end panel of the deck. One slot is lopsided. That is where I'll hook the cable to disguise (hide) the unevenness. Also started making templates for the firewall and floor.
  2. Well, I hate to differ, but I am actually 6 hours closer.☺️
  3. I certainly hope you will let us know when you start it. Some of us may make the trip to witness it.
  4. Painted the frame, rad and wheels. The subject's wheels are chrome. These wouldn't be suitable for that as they are way too rough. And since I had assembled them to set the chassis height it will likely mean I'll spray the whitewalls and brush the rest then detail the lugnuts and the rings with a chrome pen.
  5. Every little bit counts, and when I say little....Lug nuts & coil.
  6. Tonight at the Dub. The silver 47 Dodge lives around the corner.
  7. Finalized the configuration of the drivetrain. Redid the rear panel of the deck as the one I had done earlier seems to hve disappeared. It will be different from the subject truck, hope you guys won't hold it against me.
  8. thanks Dan. I have the convertible version. I always liked their unconventional look.
  9. The dios are back together. Now the story of FTB can continue.
  10. The man just turned 99 today.
  11. It was me who packed them. My mistake was to put the classics in the bottom of the box and the modern cars on top. You'd think that after 30 years in my forties I'd know better.
  12. About half a dozen left to fix and that part is done. Should be able to get on with current projects soon.
  13. I am enjoying it. Very relaxing. Glad you are enjoying it too.
