  2. I've read all articles I can find and videos on the subject.I was just wondering what some of your techniques were.Dos and don'ts that sort of thing.Maybe if I posted a pic of a model without mirrors Id get more of a response.thanks anyway
  3. I'm using pe parts for the first time and I was wondering if anyone had some tips for gluing, trimming ect. I'm doing the 63 corvette amt kit and using the model car garage pe kit. Thanks for any tips.
  4. Does anyone know someone or make their own custom decals?I am looking for some police decals that I've not been able to find.Im doing a late 70's green Cleveland police car,yes I said green,we also had green station wagon patrol cars.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  5. That right there is too cool.Thank god I'm not a rivet counter.Very creative.Much more impressive to see someone's vision come to light than just replicating a 1:1 car
  6. Thanks guys.I wasn't sure if the fine polish would cut the paint enough to harm it like wet sanding would.I appreciate the tips. Thanks again.
  7. The paint I'm using is Tamiya TS white pearl if that matters.I don't have any orange peel but the gloss seems a little dull.I will be clear coating should I just wait to polish then?
  8. Is it ok to use a fine polishing compound on pearl paints? Thanks for any suggestions
  9. Really?I have to stop looking at this forum just makes me depressed.Way wicked kool!!Amazing work!!
  10. Sharp build, what did u black out the windows with?
  11. I wait about 15 minutes and only wet sand if there are any imperfections.
  12. Very cool look,awesome build!!
  13. Looks like paint to me,doesn't look like normal rust patterns, just my opinion.
  14. It definitely took a couple of times to get good at it.I shouldn't say good at it but I feel like I'm improving every time I use it.The one thing that I don't like about it is the adhesive staying on the paint.Unless I'm doing something wrong I always have some adhesive left on the paint and its a bear to get clean.
