  1. Great job.
  2. Yea I was thinking that the paint job looked like Eddie Van Halen's guitar.Very good job.It looks more like a road course car, than a drag car.But it doesn't matter,it's just a cool looking car.
  3. The headlights are pretty wild, never saw that before.
  4. Great looking car.Excellent job.
  5. Yea this brutal FREEZING COLD &@%#**! NY weather..I have had enough.??Spring Please....
  6. Cool,I'll be waiting for more pics.
  7. Yup,again,3 Guys in Smithtown is still open. And you were right (Larry's),Elwood Hobbies, have closed their doors for good.Along with Hurricane Hobbies in Selden a few years ago.And Action Hobbies, which was only a few miles down the road from Hurricane hobbies,in Centereach.?..However,Willis,and Bayshore Hobbies are still open.?
  8. Oh yea, there ya go.You'll be having a nice relaxing weekend. Have fun.
  9. Wow,that's some wild paint job.Looks great.
  10. Well it's official,we are having a blizzard here on Long Island.Total white out conditions. But when it's all done,I'll be going out and do some snow wheeling with my Jeep Cherokee, which is sitting on 35 inch tires, with a 6 1/2 inch lift.Lots of fun.
  11. Well we here on LI,still have a few pretty good hobbies shops.Though there are obviously less stores, but some have been able to stick it out for years.Maybe it's all about the location.
  12. Yea I have the same model, but I haven't started it at all,and there it is,sitting in the box.I bought it simply because the F40,is by far my favorite Ferrari.Any street legal race car gets my approval, and that's exactly what the F40 was.Maybe I'll start it soon.
  13. Ok,so about a month ago I ordered another pro mod Nova from Shapeways 3D printer company..The model arrived today.I actually forgot that I ordered it.Its 1/24th scale, and it's the version like yours, where everything is apart.Well looking at this body, and really examining it,one thought came to mind, and that was, there's no way in hell I'am going be able to build this car?.Certainly not at my skill level, not a chance..Oh well.
  14. Actually,I was told by a friend that 3Guys did close. And I remember the owner,Betty.Well my moron friend doesn't now what he's talking about.3Guys is still open, and operating.I'm really happy about that. The store has been open since I was a kid..And Betty is a real nice lady.Anyway,I'am heading up there right now to buy something.Sorry about the confusion.
  15. I was friends with a family that ran a hobby shop/slot car track a few years ago. They were doing very good business. Then it hit the fan,and they were forced to close their doors.
  16. Risky business...Right?
  17. The IROC is wild. The car looks real.Great job.
  18. Oh yea,I missed that.Wow,I'd love to have the ability to do that.By the way,I meant I love the body, not live.Keep the pics coming.
  19. Sorry for the language.
  20. It's a 2000 Jeep Cherokee,with a less than 6 month old red top Optima battery.So what's up with that BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH,dam
  21. Love the body, where did u find it,or was it created with a 3D printer? The company Shapeways, has a great selection of Pro Mod cars in different scales and configurations.Check them out,if u haven't.
  22. Oh yea,I know,it's all about the dollar.Everyone knows that, but when a single, widowed 75 year old woman has to close her doors after about 35 years in business, that just plain sucks.
  23. It sure wasn't Going in Style.Ok nothing like the original, which stared Art Carney,George Burns, and Lee Strassberg. They pull off a bank robbery..I have to say that Everyone involved in the remake of that great hilarious movie, deserves a metal for worst movie.
