  1. Ah Christine. She was a Great ole' OG pro mod car...Along with all the other original pro mods, when they really hit the scene..Very nice work....Great job.
  2. I'm talking about "OLD" Fiat Vans, not these ugly new ones.I meant i was not aware that Fiat made vans back in the 60s.
  3. I saw this 1969,I believe Fiat Van at a local car show.I never knew Fiat made a van.Its odd,but very cool looking.Anybody know anything about this van?
  4. Absolutely flawless.Great job.Love the car,and the color.
  5. How's the Nova coming along?I can't wait to see it finished. The 1/24th scale body was a lot of work.I can't imagine how much prepping the 1/8th scale body.Must be really difficult. But I'm really looking forward to see what you have gotten done so far. This is mine, with some decals,I called it the Stalker..I guess it came out ok.Again hoping to see what your up to.
  6. Yea,here on LI,it's the same thing.Hoping to get 6-7 more weeks of car shows and cruisers.
  7. Sorry all,I don't know why it posted twice.
  8. Well,it's that day,the sorta end of summer...Hope everyone enjoys your Labor Day,and one of your last gasps of summer weather. They already have Halloween stuff in all the stores for the past week or so.Soon, they'll have Xmas stuff for sale...OMG,No!!!..But it was a pretty decent summer, and for you half glass is full people, there's going to be a lot more heat, and summer weather for at least another month.
  9. A couple of more shots of the car, before it goes into the scrap bod parts bag
  10. This is basically the chassis, and interior. The only thing missing is a dashboard. It is from a diecast prostock car.Rear slicks axel, and wheelie bars.Nothing to detailed.Everything just kind of slides in tightly and fits. But Basically after ruining another decent model,I've just decided to make this a shelf model.A far away shelf model.Covered up hidden, shelf model.I bought the body cause I thought it was the coolest and only pro mod 66/67 Nova body.I bought through TDR,I think--Via Shapeways. Its a 3D print.Anyway, another one bites the dust.RIP pRo MoD nOvA????
  11. I just added some graphics to the body.I guess it came looking ok.Still more work to be done. Also sorry about the crappy pics.Im still using my I phone 4...?
  12. Very hot car....Great job
  13. Sweet ?
  14. I've always really liked Crown Vics. I have owned a few ex detective cars over the years.Got a couple at police auctions, and others by private sales..The oldest one being a 1990.In fact I have a pretty decent size collection of model police cars,in all different models and scales. But my favorite car in my collection is the black 86 Crown Vic LTD,from the movie MIB...The Ford POS..It is a 1/43 scale diecast,so I didn't build it,but I think it's pretty cool anyway. What can I say, police cars are cool.
  15. That's weird.Yesterday I wrote that Metaldrumm was right about the cracking, and that I would try and make sure I do a better job next time.I usually don't build a model with so much sanding and filler needed..But the car was made by a 3D printer, and it was the first time I worked with anything made by a 3D printer...But it didn't write out my comment. Then I see JasonCamaro wrote something about John and how fast and detailed he builds are..????Huh.Im confused..First,who is John, and what happened to my reply to Metaldrumm.Oh well.
  16. Looks great...The 70 RR is by far,my favorite Mopar, and my favorite car.Look at that grill, and the body lines.Good luck with the car.I'll be following this one....Oh and great color..lol
  17. You got it Steve.Definetly.....Haaaaaaaaa.The Dude's Torino..?..Love it
  18. Looks really nice.My very first car was a hand me down 74,foor door, brown, with a brown interior,Grand Torino. And oh how I wished that car was a two door.By the time I sold it to a buddy of mine, who needed a train station car,it had just under a 170,000 miles. It was a good car,and dependable.
  19. The shadow boxes look great.I built a drag racing shop from a shadow box.I made it with a frame, and a piece of clear plastic covering the front. Then I hung it on the wall in my den.Yours look great.
  20. So I got the car body as smooth as I was able to do.I painted it flat black.I customized the glass all around so it would fit,m.I customized a roll cage, seating, and scratchbuilt a floor board and then added some decals..Still a WIP.I hope it came out pretty well.
