  1. top corners of tire rack radiused, doors cut out and cab paint. hood painted

  3. about as big as it gets and barely fits. rear wheel detail sidewalls and treads sanded. due to contrast thet look shined. fronts the same with detailed hubs.

  5. good to hear from you Michael. mine could have been a bad batch, use it on gauges only. if you have been inspired by something it is good to hear. I don't really study real truck pictures much, and try not to replicate anything.

  11. bodywork mocked up. don't care for the notch under the tire rack. other than that I really like the looks. stacks to be omitted also and dumped behind fuel tanks.
  12. this is the Elvis kit built a couple of yrs. ago. hard top placed on it for photos.
  13. one beautiful great build on a tuff kit.
  14. engine work and frame painted, wheels assembled.
  15. William I know your cab is different but can be done in a similar manner. the right drill bit size made the fit snug enuff to not need glue. the outside appearance is barely visible. if you should have anymore questions feel free to ask.

  17. thanx for your interest Frank, engine was painted to match air cleaner decal. Carl this is using thread it was what I had handy and didn't care and really still don't. When you have a battle for life itself small details in life really don't matter. thanx for looking and your interest and thanx to all for kind words.

  19. Clayton, you have been around also. I served two apprenticeships for two different building trades. card carrying member of two union halls. retired at 49. the unions have been good to me and my immediate family.

  21. I like the basic layout of this kit and its proportions. tires were stuffed with tissue upper right so they fill out the rims upper left. left alone is shown lower left.
