I became good friends with Bill Bedell on flickr. His photography of trucks during the 70's was second to none. He was a top rate photographer that happened to drive trucks. He followed the building of this truck closely and died shortly afterward. Sadly we never got together in person, for it was his camera work that prodded me to build trucks again. Anyone building the amt kits should check his page if you want ideas or inspiration. As far as my builds go i started model building around 1966-67 with the annual pontiac kits. Always a truck fan the first was this 359 kit around 1970. Spent 3 years on a sailing ship and cabinet out of walnut mahogany maple etc. ( I would never spend more than a month on any truck or car because the subject matter just isn't there) all of my work had been sitting in cabinets covered up and no one had seen anything. Don't go to shows (Politics) I'm a recluse with multiple hobbies and after a lengthy battle with cancer had decided to share some of my work with others. If some enjoyment comes to others looking then I guess it's worth posting. The trucks are fully detailed with functioning steering etc. I have many, many images of ships cars and trucks.
