  1. I bought the black truck transporter. It was TERRIBLE! Extremely warped and very brittle. Almost completely unbuildable. I used the chassis and modified the be for another project. I would not buy the black version again. This has also kept me from buying the black race truck. The white race truck wasn’t warped or brittle.
  2. Wow! This thing is amazing! Craftsmanship at its best!
  3. I don’t know what I was thinking. It is in the title of the thread. I would like to blame my vision, but I think it was my brain.😀
  4. Awesome job as always Charles! Looks amazing!
  5. They were rated at 60,000 gvw.
  6. Thanks! The sleeper is the Mercury Sleeper that comes in the AMT Road Boss, Western Star, and Diamond Reo.
  7. Thanks for all of the comments guys! Starting to mock up this one.
  8. Thanks Sean! The engine in the background is the first big block that I dug out.
  9. Thanks Warren. I’m not building an exact replica of the picture, so I’m not sure what tanks I will use yet. It will probably come down to what I can find in my parts box.😀
  10. Thanks Lee! I wanted to portray the 5&4. However it is going to be curbside and I wasn’t sure how picky that I wanted to be. I’m guessing that the 5&4 set up out of the W900 KW from AMT wouldn’t be accurate or would it? I had almost resigned myself to the bland generic transmission out of one of the snap kits.
  11. Thanks Warren! I wish the decals would have turned out perfect, but they were a battle, at least for me, to get them as good as I did. Thanks so much!! Thanks Jim!! Thanks Gary!! Thanks Ronnie!! Thanks Jeff!! The decals could have turned out better, There’s always a couple of things that I mess up at the finish line.😀 Thanks Sean!! Thankfully the hurricane didn’t affect us very much! Glad to see you back on here. Hopefully my next project won’t take 5 months like this one did.😀 Thanks so much!! Thanks so much Tommy! Speaking of all the extra junk, I was trying to reflect an owner operator who had pulled and could pull just about anything. It has a headache rack for logs and flatbeds, a wet line for dumps, etc., I even made the fifth wheel to where it could be pinned for a frameless dump. Thanks Victor!! I have always admired your builds as well! I had higher hopes for this one than the finished product produced. I haven’t had much build time over the past few months and was just glad to see it finished.😀 Thanks Ken!!
  12. This is the cab from Too Many Projects, the 427 engine is from the Baldwin Motion Camaro. It isn’t a tall deck, but it wouldn’t be noticeable in scale. I don’t think that I am going to open the hood anyway. The Road Boss will be donating the chassis. Here is the inspiration picture. It was on Facebook.
  13. Nice scratch building!
  14. Thanks! No trailer plans at this point.
  15. This is the KFS cab from STS. It is the best all around resin cab conversion that have ever bought. The fit is excellent. It is on the Testors Freightliner chassis. The headache rack is from RNK, the hydraulic tank is from Kootenany, the wheels are Clint Freeman. My vision for this build changed about a dozen times and l’m not 100% happy with the finished product, but it is what it is.
  16. Thanks Ken! Thanks!! Good to hear from you Sean! I need to look in here more often. I didn’t realize that these comments were here. Thanks for the kind words!
  17. Nice job on the Peterbilt!
  18. Somehow I missed this one! I like it! Nice work!
  19. Beautiful as always! I like this paint scheme!
