  1. thanks for alert @espo, but I only want to recreate the Dodge Charger "General Lee". I know that the Confederate flag means, but it has nothing to do with its meaning. (sorry for my english!) On the other hand, I understand about "politically Correct". Europe and Spain are victims of the "Political Correct". For me, the "correct" is not being afraid, be honest, to help others, to respect, to share... Good people do not need to be "politically correct". OMG, sorry for my bad english!!!! thanks @espo
  2. @crazyrichard thanks for tips!
  3. More progress. Body only with one paint layer (using orange Tamiya paint as primer). Idea: a General Lee version. I need help. I need a Confederate flag decal to the roof. Could anyone help me?
  4. Test set. It seems that fits seamlessly for now:
  5. Starter solenoid on the fender and more details. This part is finished!
  6. @PatW I found this: http://www.emodels.co.uk/trumpeter-1-25-65-ranchero-pickup-custom-plus-02512-plastic-model-kit.html
  7. @force thanks for history
  8. Battery finished and on its place.
  9. Good!
  10. Working with the battery. Some details still unfinished.
  11. Engine with more parts. But still looks "empty". Process (spanish only): http://www.angelnoes.es/2015/07/ranchero-65-trumpeter-125-motor-y-chasis.html
  12. @JTamalge thanks for data!!!
  13. Oh! I have not those kits! Snif! but it would be worth if it could cannibalize parts. The engine of this Ranchero is a Ford FE may find small differences in other brand cars at the time. (sorry for my english!!!!!)
  14. Engine installed in the chassis. Although the engine of this model is fine there are parts missing, as throughout the fuel system. I am "scratching" carburetor parts, fuel lines, filters and injection pump. The engine does not fit in the space provided by a millimeter. I had to reduce that space.
  15. Yes, for a Bronco... it will be better
  16. And thinking on options... but no, no, no... It seems an australian farm version.
  17. Thanks for words team! I continued working with the front axle and its suspension. Final version of shock and added some parts to "emulate" what is lacking in the kit. It is not very true, but it's a little more realistic. The brake discs also add, because the model does not. The next step is to simulate the ventilation holes and paint the whole black matte, then I will apply dry brush with black-gray matte.
  18. The front axle is a absurdity in the model of Trumpeter. It what made no why from a mechanical point of view. Trumpeter solved on kit it like a toy. I thought about rebuilding the front axle and suspension but eventually just going to add any missing part and replace the damper. Too much work for a model with only pretend to have fun. (Sorry for my english, please!!!)
  19. Description of progress (spanish text, sorry!): http://www.angelnoes.es/2015/06/ford-ranchero-65-trumpeter-125-motor.html
